I can't make it
Well now who am I gonna psych out in 4 sqaure?!

I'm going to come as long as I can find a ride.

NYFA: If I were to take a bus to Albany or Vermont, or somewhere on route from NYC to Montreal, would anyone possibly have extra space and be able to give me a ride? We can make fun of Boats for listening to backwards music. :P

I'm sure we can snag you from albany area, if you could get to wills house that would be ideal. This is starting to get complicate.

Okay,

I'm about 91.7% committed to going to this jam.

My plan is to drive up on Thursday evening, and leave on Sunday afternoon/evening.

So, anybody that can take off from work/school all-day Friday can ride up with me, so long as they don't mind making this journey by night and arriving in Montreal very late on Thursday night.

And, anybody that needs to be home on Sunday night so they can go to work on Monday, they can leave with me late Sunday afternoon.

If there are any passengers who are in New York City and need a lift, I will come to NYC to get you.

I am willing to stop at Balston Lake and/or Albany on my way up on Thursday night.

If you DON'T want to leave Montreal on Sunday, and if Drew has room, you can ride up with me and back with him...

I can be in Manhattan, NYC by 7:30 pm (or maybe 6:30 pm if I'm lucky), which means that I can be in Albany by 10:30 pm (9:30 if I'm lucky) and arrive in Montreal by 1:30 am.

Technically, I have room for me and 4 other passengers, though only 3 other passengers will make for a much more comfortable trip.

Let me know ASAP if you're interested.

Hey guys!
I'm super happy people start to confirm :D!
Just to let you know that, as i'm pretty much the only one offering crash space, i think my house will be pretty crowed... I guess i should count between 15 and 20 people.
I think it's doable, but to make things more comfortable, i would recommand those who can to bring a tent to do some camping in my backyard. It's a very quiet/safe nieghboorhood and my backyard is very big, so you will not have any problem:D!
so, if you are using that option, let me know plz!

I'm confirmed to be in Montreal.

On the ride situation, I might be pooling with Jon on Thursday evening just to ease off any complications Drew might have for his departure, but I think it would be best to have a couple more people on our side to even out the passenger situation.

Jon is riding back to the States on Sunday and Drew has mentioned riding back on Monday. I'm very flexible about my return, whether I'll be pooling with Jon or Drew back, or maybe taking the train if things get complicated/cramped for returning peeps.

I'll be bringing bags for sale. Mathieu will just have to choose what I have on hand to be a prize for comp, since I'm not too picky.

So... hype? :v

From what I can tell right now, Outsider and I will be arriving late Thursday evening into Montreal.

Drew's ride for Friday is Mikie, Doug, and a "surprise guest" from NYC. :D

I "believe" our ride (Outsider) will be picking up Will D. on the way up to Montreal, but no confirmation has been made on his end yet. It'll be easier for Will to ride with us since we're going up his alley, and Drew's pool will be a tight squeeze with already 3 passengers in tow.

See you all soon. Oooooh Canadaaa~

Arriving in Montreal

Post by Outsider » 20 Jun 2012 17:28

Mathieu,

I hope to arrive in Montreal between 1:00 and 1:30 am (very very early Friday morning...)

If we're very lucky, we might make it by 12:30 am. If we're unlucky, maybe 2:00 am...

I'll arrive with Waylon Lew and Tristan.

I am bringing my tent, but it is only big enough for 1 person. I am also bringing a spare tent that is also big enough for one, maybe two...

However, I would prefer not to have to set the tent up in the middle of the night on Thursday. I presume that many people will not arrive until Friday, so I'd expect that on Thursday when we arrive so late we can just crash inside the house. I'll sleep outside the following two nights.

Thanks.

edit -- oops, that was supposed to be a PM. I hate it when I do that.

Thanks for keeping track Outsider!

Some people get an hotel room and some people also cancelled, so i think it will be fine to fit everybody in the house.

That said, bring the tent anyway in case we need it!

No problem for thursday their will only be you guys, so it will be really easy to fit all the people!

I won't be able to ride up Thursday night unfortunately, I have family obligations.

My only chance is going Friday with Drew, if there is room.

Currently I am torn between feeling obligated to stay home for a family reunion/Josiah's graduation party, and really wanting to go to Montreal because it is one of my favorite cities on the face of the planet and all my favorite peeps will be there.

I suspect I will come to a decision sometime tonight, this is really hard. :(

Any who, I hope to see you all there

But if I don't make it, have fun and kick some ass for me.

Well get in touch with John and Drew asap!
Cause i think drew car is full. So your only chance is that Someone from Drew car can ride tonight with john and then you take the stop in drew car.
Hope you can make it, would be really nice :)

Icontacted most of the ppl about it, but we changedc plan on friday night.
Instead of going to Place des Arts, we will go straight to my place.
you can show up by 6:30 PM. Before that i'll be in town with Aleksi for some sightseeing!
We will have a BBQ, pool and shred at my place.
Most of the drivers already have the adress.

Fucking Newfoundland weather. My flight was delayed for 6 hours, luckily they were able to give me a seat on a plane via Ottawa. I'll still arrive later than expected. See you all soon!
