Is there a chance for a p-town ride share? I should be in Portland by Thursday the 27th. Looking forward to getting back to the NW

We will be staying the night at my aunt and uncles house THursday night and leaving Portland Friday morning if you can't get a ride flash. You'd have to sit next to our teenage daughter though (warning).. j/k. For sure we'd be happy to make room if you need. Really excited. We splurged and stayed at the host hotel. A bit spendy but nice that's it's right down town.

Some Updates:
The WAC has parking at: 1409 6th Avenue (1 block north of the Clubhouse), for rates: https://www.wac.net/about-the-wac/parking
Parking on the streets of Seattle is free on Sundays

Mention you are there for the footbag championships to get let by the front desk. The elevators are located straight back and on the left. Take the elevator to the 8th floor and the gym is at the end of the hallway to the right.

As of today my car has been stolen.
I'm not sure yet what I'll to do rectify this, so for now:

For people coming by plane:
Seattle has created a wonderful Light Rail system that will take you directly to downtown. You can get off at the last stop Westlake Station, this puts you on 4th and Pine. http://www.soundtransit.org/Schedules/C ... light-rail

To get to my house you can take the 358 bus on 3rd and Pine to my stop at 130th and Aurora. The bus just goes up Aurora so you only have to watch for 130th. http://metro.kingcounty.gov/schedules/358/map.html

or from downtown it's an easy walk to the event site on 6th between University and Union.

I'll have more updates as I think of them and as I figure out my car situation. So keep checking this thread.

I went through the final walk through for the event today and it is looking to be fantastic! Can't wait to see you all soon!

Man that sucks bigtime I'm sorry Justin! Hopefully they are able to find it quickly.

I just wanted to see if Flash still needed a ride or not cause Brian Sherrill could use one if not. If I haven't heard back by tomorrow evening I will offer the ride to Brian. Sorry but I know plans are getting made by the minute now and I hate to leave him hanging for an answer in case things fall through.

Again I hope the best for your car situation Justin. If it's any consolation, we had our car stolen in Vegas and within the day they found it in one piece..

Oh man, that sucks Justin. I know its stressful to run a big event, and losing your car the week before can't help any. I really hope it turns up, but even if it doesn't, know that all your hard work will pay off and we'll all have a good time. Let us know how we can help out.

Stoked to see everybody on Saturday!

Thanks for the offer Larry, but I *think* I've got it covered. So by all means, get Bear there. That's some shit JD, I hope your whip is recovered promptly.
I'm looking forward to seeing everyone there.

What should competitors do for routine music? Can we bring our ipods and play right off of them? Or is a flashdrive preferred? Can we email our music ahead of time?

I have opened registration back up for anyone still needing to do so.

The weather for Friday: partially cloudy 81 degrees, Saturday: Sunny 84 degrees, Sunday: Sunny 84 degrees. Looking amazing.

For anyone staying with me I have 2 cats so I hope no one has any allergies. Just an FYI.

My condo and Friday party address is: 13201 Linden Ave N #406A Seattle, WA 98133. I'm hoping to see you all that night, should be really fun.

I got lots of food for the event, muffins, croissants, trail mix, bananas, almonds and Nutrigrain bars.

That's all for tonight's updates. Tomorrow I figure out the car situation.

Any chance that there will be other flying into Seattle this afternoon? It would be nice to be in a group trying to figure out how to get to Justin's instead of by myself. If not, I am use to the public transit here in AZ so it shouldn't be that hard.

Congratulations to US Champion Ken Somolinos and all other top competitors and event winners !

And, congratulations to Justin Dale for hosting an important tournament, despite personal adversity. Big props on commitment, fortitude... The show must go on, and I salute you for it. If you're coming to Worlds, I'm buying you a drink.

But, what happened to Flash Gordon? Did he scratch after day one? Flash, I love ya man, but, you did seem like you were just messing around with your first-round routine --- I figured you might be saving the good stuff for Finals... what happened?

Lets just say Yoga isn't the cure for everyone.. Sucks cause Flash's routines are always very entertaining.. Alex had to drop from an injury as well. Not the way I would want to move up in spots for sure...
