- Halo: Combat Evolved, Perfect Dark and Goldeneye as best shooters ever
- GTA: III for pioneering GTA third person not birdseye view
- Space invaders ((Classic)Godfather of Video Games)
- Solitare for all those lonely nights, c'mon if you haven't played solitare you haven't lived
- hmm tough call, but it would be Mario 64 and Zelda: OoT for Role Playing fans
There is no Boyall in team, unless it is an All-Boy team. PM if you dont get it

no offense but in my opinion mentioning Metal gear solid 2 in any way shape or form implying it was better than metal gear solid 1 is a trevesty

Does anyone know if Snake Eater is ever coming out on Xbox? :( (Or if Guns of the Patriots will be on Xbox 360?)

1. Super Smash Bros (Melee). Awesome party game. More strategy underlying in the game than one sees at first. Relatively good Peach/Falco player here.

2. ChronoTrigger for SNES definitely takes the first for a single player game.

3. Kirby's Dreamland. I swear, that was my first video game. I swear I loved it so much.

4. Sonic the Hedgehog 3 for Genesis. Yes number 3. I think that's the one where you could play as knuckles.

5. FFXI. Technically it was released for PS2 at first, then ported to PC(which is what I use), and recently ported to XBOX360 too. So it's a video game. Currently hooked on it and so far clocked around 20 days worth of non-idle gaming in the last 3-4 months. No, I do not have a life. Thanks for the implicit question.

After that, I'd probably stuff in Mortal Kombat 3 for Genesis. Fun times 10 years ago with that game. I used to be awesome with Sub-Zero and Scorpion.

If this were about PC games too, the games would be pretty different and going along with nethack being first, etc..

Nope, you are reffering to Sonic & Knuckles. Knuckles starred in Sonic 3, but was not playable (unless you locked Sonic 3 onto Sonic & Knuckles).
Just for info, Sonic & Knuckles was not made by Sonic Team.

Oooow man, I forgot to add Earthworm Jim to my list!!!

1. Hands down Half-Life, the original was pretty damn fun, but when you consider everything else that's spawned from it (Counter-Strike, DoD, and on..), i don't see how you can't include this in a top5 count.

2. GoldenEye 64

3. Contra NES

4. Road Rash (MAN how i miss that game, i hope they remake it)

5. Battle Toads (Because I've never seen past the 3rd level, but i'll never get tired of sitting down for 6 hours trying to beat it)
