pekka in berlin

Post by krawallier » 28 Feb 2006 16:52

one of the sessions when pekka from helsinki/espoo was here in berlin in early february, i filmed a bit... actually i wanted to do a more complete job with the editing but all of a sudden i got a good job so i didn't have time to finish the editing. i thought i'd better release this before it is totally outdated even it is only half way edited.

pekka is an amazing player, unfortunately i didn't get many runs of his...

the players featured are
some jakob wagner,
pekka raitio
matthias lino schmidt
me
paul cronjaeger

thanks to lux for filming some... unfortunately most of the footage is tripod-style

the music is part of a mix from my favorite music site blentwell. the mix is called EclecticMethod-SolidSteelMix

12 min - 98 megs - wmv9
enjoy!

i appreciate comments a lot

btw pekka i one of the two that did our all-time favorite doubles routine from copenhagen, as seen in tuukkas calendar...

That was such an awesome video Max!! All of you guys are amazing! You had some really awesome combos with all those triple dexes thrown in and Matthias's combos are so smooth and flow really well! I thought you did a great editing job as well! You didn't edit it too little or too much, it was just right! The video was packed with great footbag! Thanks a lot for making my day! This video really makes me want to shred right now! :)

You guys are so good!!! I must say that you, Paul, and Matthias have some of my favorite styles in footbag. You guys are all so consistent, smooth, stylish, both-sided, and versatile. I hope this increased rate of release of videos from you guys keeps up, but even if it doesn't I'll keep watching this and BerlinShreds for some time to come. Thanks! :)

Wow, you actually got to film Pekka? :D I haven't seen his game for over a year. He's a bloody good player and so are you guys.
Good video. I liked the first song a lot.

Thanks Max

I like the vid - amazing shred from all of you.

Matze impressed me never see him doing so much double down tricks. Moreover his tricks are very very clean.

Unfortunately not more Jakob footage.

Anyway I really enjoyed this vid - great motivation before shred. After my deleting of all my old foobag vids exactly the thing I needed.

thanks for all these positive replies... i hope the increased rate of berlin videos will keep up... really depends on how much time people have... i can't tell now for myswelf at least. the next video i want to make is hopefully not going to be tripod boring shit like this and the last ones. we really need to go out for filming and shoot some more beautiful pictures... also it would be cool to show some up-to-date yves footage... we'll see.

i find it incredible to get compliments for my style, not being very statisfied with it...thanks! but i still hope it will improve with time.

You guys are ridiculas. Aside from Pekka, is that the 'normal' croud from Berlin? Berlin is good at footbag.

I only watched it for the first time yesterday, but I've watched it three times since. Awesome, thanks. I want to start writing out specific combos and runs, but it'd have me here all afternoon.

i'd say this is some of the normal berlin "crowd", but missing some people. also i'd say the session was better than our average sessions. have you seen matthias last video "berlin shreds"? it features some more berlin people. also there is some yves footage... i hope to get some footage of him out soonish. depending on lots of stuff. but i think it actually is time for another yves special...

@lise. i only have 15 mins of footage from the anniversary that is not even enough for a little clip. i hope markus from munich is going to do something with the stuff he filmed.

Pekka reminds me of a mix of Vasek, Jakob and Matthias.
