Of all the things Kamil could say, it's that the Radiative set isn't good enough. :D Figures.

Anyway, you are surprising me every session Byrin. Keep it the FUCK up.

Also, hurry up and move in. :)

Solid session this evening, and all thanks to doing my laundry. I tried having a sesh earlier today, and it went downhill fast so instead I did a workout. Later on, I did my laundry and played Freecell in my underwear. I got a 2 game winning streak when the urge to kick hit me like a ton of bricks.

This one started out and ended pretty good. I'm really happy with how my non-shuffle game is shaping out. Oh, I also worked on my form at the beginning of the sesh. By improving my posture during Clipper and Butterflies, I saw a remarkable difference in control into and out of my delays :).

- Nuke ss Drifter bs

- Gyro Diving Whirl bs
- Spinning Zulu Whirl bs
- Diving Osis and Zulu Osis bsos
- Diving Butterfly and Zulu Butterfly bsos
- Ripwalk x 19

I guess not too many highlights, but I felt pretty strong in the beginning.

My leg feels so not good. I think I must have pulled something in my calf right behind my knee at work standing around, because it feels so tight. Even after warming up and kicking at the YMCA, it was still really bothersome :(.

But I had a really sweet session last night :D

- weakside Irish Cream (now it's bs)
- Dimwalk Swirl first attempt EVER
- Pixie Miraging Refraction
- Gyro Symple Rev. Swirl x 2 again
- Vortex x 7
- Tapping DLO > Atom Smasher x 2
- Ripwalk x 22 (new record)
- Smog > Pixie ss DLO x 2 > run with Fog and Blurriest (6 unique triples = a personal record)
- Rubberman with Fogs again
- Blurry Drifter > Ripwalk bsos
- 5 contacts of Rubberman 2
- Backside Blur > Witchdoctor
- Ripped Warrior > Rev. Swirl
- Atomic Drifter > Sumo
- Backside Tap > Atom Smasher bs
- Zulu Pdx Whirl midstring (almost bsos'd that one boys and girls 8O )
- 12 (?) unique Fairy tricks in a string

I don't know what I will do today, maybe grab a hot water bottle for my leg and take it real easy. I fucked up my sleeping pattern last night by giong to ebd at nearly 5:30 in the morning, and waking up at 1:15. Ick!

Monday I plan on taking my CPU back to the computer store and getting a new video card. I *will* be playing Oblivion by the end of the week, damn it! :x

EDIT - Oh. My. God. I just made Felix Zenger (sp?) leave footbag chat to go cook hot dogs. Hot dogs, people!!! Now I want some hot dogs!!

Thanks Andrew :)

Hmm, where to start. My computer has been in the shop since Monday getting upgraded, and my leg finally isn't hurting now. I've only had one kick this week, on Wednesday, and I don't think I can go to the YMCA this evening because I got really ill yesterday at work and despite the fact that I'm feeling lots better today, I don't want to rush things - I still feel a bit wooozy.

This week has been pretty up and down. My father and I had a little spat a few days ago, and we're still not talking to each other. Whatever. Germany isn't going to happen now - I doubt I will be able to afford it but we'll see. I actually doubt that I have the time off for it but I still need to ask.

Umm... good news? I guess the only good news would be about my sesh on Wednesday. I kicked for 2.5 hours and it went pretty good. Too bad I can't remember too much from it :(.

- Nuke Whirl bs
- Sumo > Legbeater x 2 on three different occassions
- Pdx Whirl x 16 (new record)
- Matador > Sumo > Legbeater twice on bs I think
- DLO drill first attempt...

A couple of days ago I shoe gooed / fixed my shoes. I haven't worn them yet, but I'm hoping now my toes don't poke out the sides of my Lavers. I so need new shoes.

Oh, and I am supposed to drive 5 hours up north to visit my friend but I don't know if that is going to happen either. Not with the way I'm feeling, atleast. He's probably going to think that I'm all talk and no action because I was supposed to do it last weekend but couldn't because of work. Fuck fuck fuck. :x

Internet access is going to be sketchy for the next couple of weeks, so bare with me here.

Yesterday I went into the city and kicked with Rory. It was our first outdoor session of 2006! Hurrah! My hands were freezing but it turned out to be not too bad. Three quarters of the way in, we had a stylin link contest - I think Rory won that one with Toe Ingyro Mirage > Diving Dragonfly kick. Then after that, we had two games of two square, which he won too.

- Zulu PS Whirl
- Blurry Whirl x 6
- Vortex > Blurry Whirl x 2
- Pixie Paradon > Blur x 2 > run
- Zulu Pdx Whirl bsos
- Pdx Whirl > Pdx Drifter x 2 midstring
- almost had Montage bsos :o

My consistancy felt really off, as did almost everything except Pdx/Blurry Whirls. Oh well. I'll try and have another session today, but I don't know - Oblivion has its grip pretty tight on me now.

What?! Fromt he Seattle trip?? I was freakin tired, alright? I had, like, 12 hours of footbag, then a 3 hour sleep, then another 4 hours of footbag, then another 4 hour trip to Spokane?

Anywho, so lots of footbag! Today was the only day I took off. Monday I had that kick, Tuesday I had a solo sesh outside at my aunty's house, and yesterday I stayed in the city and kicked with Kevin and Rory at the YMCA. Good stuff. I've discovered, with some inspiration, that I can do Dolomites pretty good, though they seem to upset my left hip flexor, which in turn really puts the hamper on the atomic, nuke and Pdx-tricks using my left leg :(.

- Pixie Dolomite bs
- Nuke Illusion
- Pdx Drifter x 7
- Blurry Whirl > Spinning Whirl x 2 (first fearless drill) :):)
- Gyro DLO > Dolomite bs
- Sumo > Dolomite
- Fog > Dolomite
- Dolomite bsos on a number of occassions
- this super hard drill that I hit, but will not be revealed until the video comes out :P (trust me, super hard!!!)

Oh, and I hit some good runs too. My endurance is crap from sitting at the computer all day, but whatever. I need to manage my time so that I can get back into shape AND play Oblivion, instead of eating, getting fat, sitting at the computer and playing Oblivion.

Decent kick at the YMCA tonight. We were all really tired, but I think everybody did manage some sweet stuff. Kevin's ankle is getting strong enough that he's throwing Pandemoniums everywhere, which is right on. Everbody seems to be doing good lately.

Umm, I need to get back to working out. I'll start doing that next week. Proper eating (haven't really been eating badly, but I think I could still do better), more footbag drilling and get back to lifting the weights to stay toned. And then lots of Oblivion inbetween.

So yes, the session tonight. I was really tired and I think it took me about an hour and a half to get warmed up. I don't think I hit any new tricks... nope, not any that I can recall, but I did hit some links and had a few good runs. Rory hit Fog on his second attempt on my request, which was really huge too!!

Oh yeah, I need to get back to drilling because though everything wasn't bad, I felt like I had horrible form and technique throughout the evening :(.

- Pdx Drifter x 6 on the otherside
- Atomic Refraction > Mobius
- Atomic Refraction > Gyro Symp Whirl
- Rubberman x 2
- pixies were struggling :?
- Blurry Drifter > Ripwalk / Blurry Whirl bs
- Tombstone x 2... again...
- Spinning Ducking Clipper x 3 (I think I had 2 on the otherside??)
- Gyro Diving Clipper bsos? Or bs? I think it was only bs...

Guess that's it. Not too bad, but I need to drill drill and then drill some more again. I want to be at the top of my game for Montana.

EDIT - Drill drill drill :P

Byrin! Your game sounds incredible right now!! I really hope I get a chance to kick with you before SJFF! :)

It's also interesting to compare our reactions to the fact that we've each been drilling less.

Atomic Refraction>either of those moves are some of the coolest links I've heard of in a long time.

Also, a fun challenge for Mr. Gyro: gyro whirling swirl.

Later, bud!

I will give that a try Kevin, but I haven't been drilling Eggbeaters lately so it'd probably be a pretty tough drill.

And yes, Sam, we need to kick sometime before the next SJFF!! Since Worlds isn't going to happen for me anymore, maybe I can see if I can attend Folklife or something? That would be epic!

I was going to hold off from posting in here until I had one more sesh, but I figured since I'm waiting for my clothes to be done in the washer I reckoned I could post. Last weekend I went up north and saw my friend. He actually became a father a little over a week ago, and his baby is beautiful. It was really good to see him and his family again, but I felt like I didn't have enough time to spend with them. :(

My last sesh was on Monday. Actually, I had two because the first one I didn't feel like having one. Later that evening, I totally did and it was worth it. Yesterday I tried kicking twice, but both of those "attempts" just dwindled away like my motivationa nd my energy. Today I plan on going over to my aunty's and having a kick on the cement pad outdoors. I'm itching to have an outdoor sesh!

So Monday's session was a great way to get back into things. I feel as though I have a little ways to go before I feel as strong as I did before, but I know that will happen so long as the drive to kick is still there.

- Gyro Whirling Swirl bs for Mr. Potter :D
- Rev. Swirl x 5 on one side, and x 6 on the other
- Rev. Swirl > Gyro Clip x 5
- Drifter x 28 (new record)
- Blurry Whirl > Stepping ss Whirl x 2
- Pdx DLO > Butterfly (23 contacts)
- Fog > Butterfly x 4

Ha. Thought there was more than that, but whatever :D. I'm trying to get my computer hooked back on to the internet so I can register Windows XP, but having troubles doing so. I plan on tinkering on that right after I post this. Afterwards, lunch time then I'm off to my aunty's to kick and then it's off to work!

EDIT - Oh yeah, and yesterday I got my hair chopped off. Before I could pull it down past my nose. Now it's, like, an inch long on top. What a transition! 8O
