Oroza wrote:Toby!, those are some bagass bags, is the purpous of the design to give it a of "skeleton" to keep the bag rounder? or what? I'd really like one of those bags at some point. differences between both? the strait one and the swirled one?
The straight bag was just the first bag i finished with that stitching technique. I've made changes to make it better, and the result is the swirled one.
The goal was to make a soft bag that didn't have flat panels, and hopefully a bag that sets well even when it's very broken in. It hasn't had much playing yet, but so far so good.

I'm thinking about something... and there is a very high chance it has something to do with footbag.

Before I knew about good freestyle bags at all, me and my friends stitched two panels just like those!

Sockbaby is my first attempt at making a 4-panel footbag. I made it from a sock I found on the floor. I used a bunch of silver beads for filler and I might put in some smaller plastic beads to fill the bag up a bit more. Instead of doing a blind stitch I used thin strip of velcro.
I'm going to make a sockbaby video later...
