I believe it's better to use other types of fabric other than facile for lesser paneled bags. At least below 14 panels, but that's just me.

2-panels are pretty hot.

Im my mind 2 panels aren't the easist to stich as your always stiching on a curve... I've only made 2 and they are the best beginner bags epsh filled with 1mm bear shot as there floppy and still set alright-ish lol

as for the using facile or not thing... mine are both facile but only cos I had it to hand and have a fair bit of it left but something like a mircosuede (with the coated back) would work just as good

that bag does look sweet though man, props to you my friend

on the template you got there should be dots, you line up those dots but not so the template line up but so its the end will fit into the middle if you get me?

Just look at a base ball, thats essentially the way you sew them, you just start by lining up the 2 templetes with the dot surrounded by circles, but then put a stitch on the 2 lined up dots.

Ok, now for my question. I stitched the whole thing into the templete, how do i get the paper out now?

Here's how I do it.

Image
Make a "T" with your panels and have the good sides of the facile facing in toward each other.
Image
Stitch as even as you can in a curve as you line the panels edges up.
Image
Should look something like that.
Image
Make sure your gather is even and not too tight (like mine :? ) :)
Image
Looks like a potty 8) Keep going...
Image
Keep stitching in a curve, then flip it for the blind stitch and fill it with some homemade goodness.
Image
Now go show your funky 2 panel to all of your hacky sack friends! Woo hoo!

jeez dude.

its just upholstry thread. theres probably not much difference from brand a to brand b

fill it with whatever. something heavy. bbs. aquarium rocks. poly if you got it. beads. anything will work. but make sure you have something heavier than plastic.

@Twix, If you really want to know its called Coats and Clark. I just picked it up at Hobby Lobby. Like Brian said, it doesn't really matter what kind of upholstery thread you get.
