Erik, that bag is SEXY AS.
Hey Ben just have a crack at the 32, i mean i just went in and did a 32 for my first bag and it came out really nice and round, despite the botched blind stitch. Its not that hard!

Yeah, props on that bag Ian, was cool.
As everyone else has said... your first few won't be that great
Speaking of... my dodgey 5th bag!!

Bit inconsistent this one... the one I gave to Janis was better. Changed the pattern slightly for this, bit smaller, the size is perfect for me, but the hex's are too small, the short sides are too short. Enough facile for one more bag... gotta order more! Not till I'm paid though...
edit: and it's actually a tad smaller than it appears there

Wow, weird design, James
.
I did some experiment. I stitched a bag with a new type of thread - dental flos. I also changed a bit my filler. Now it's aquarium rocks (17 g) and diminutive lead shot like in FFs (30 g). So, it's still 50 g. I also used a new design - Radiative!

Just finished making this one today. I made it for my girl friend
I purposely made it big and didn't really fill it as much as I usually do. I stitched way closer to the edge and I didn't use as much gather. I think it'll be a decent begginer bag. We'll see...
It weighs 56 grams
