i dont think it will be so much of a complete failure that i need to use other fabric, i just dont think the first one will be as close to what im capable of.

your first 32 isnt going to be really good no matter how many 12 panels you stitch. stop being a wuss and make a goddamn 32.

Erik, that bag is SEXY AS.

Hey Ben just have a crack at the 32, i mean i just went in and did a 32 for my first bag and it came out really nice and round, despite the botched blind stitch. Its not that hard!

Yeah, props on that bag Ian, was cool.

As everyone else has said... your first few won't be that great ;) Speaking of... my dodgey 5th bag!!

Image

Bit inconsistent this one... the one I gave to Janis was better. Changed the pattern slightly for this, bit smaller, the size is perfect for me, but the hex's are too small, the short sides are too short. Enough facile for one more bag... gotta order more! Not till I'm paid though...

edit: and it's actually a tad smaller than it appears there

Wow, weird design, James :).

I did some experiment. I stitched a bag with a new type of thread - dental flos. I also changed a bit my filler. Now it's aquarium rocks (17 g) and diminutive lead shot like in FFs (30 g). So, it's still 50 g. I also used a new design - Radiative!

Design? there's no design... it's dada (i.e. random) all my leftover bits :)

I love radiative... sick bag. Aren't aquarium rocks bad for the fabric? abrasive?

James, maybe aquarium rocks aren't preety cool for fabric but they're nice for shred and that's because I use it :).

8$ + 4$ for shipping. I have never sold any bag outside of Poland through the Internet. You can be my first online foreign customer :).

PS. I have got a PayPal account for a few days :).

I think im going to start selling 14 panels after I work out the templates, they are like 32 panels in the way that I am using hexagons instead of triangles so its rounder than a normal 14 panel ( I think) and you can change the filler.

Just finished making this one today. I made it for my girl friend :) She's trading me a nice winter hat that she made for it.

I purposely made it big and didn't really fill it as much as I usually do. I stitched way closer to the edge and I didn't use as much gather. I think it'll be a decent begginer bag. We'll see...

It weighs 56 grams

Nice bags everyone!

Jrstubbs - I have been meaning to make some 14's like that, it seems like a good idea.

Ben - That bag looks great, one of your prettiest that Ive seen.
