Yes, this is going to be the best event ever. You should make it two days for sure, I don't really understand the problem. It is hard to run a Net touny in one day and there will only be one round of freestyle. What are your plans for places for people to stay?

the issue about two days is, the event is dependent on teachers chaperoning.

Threre's crash space at my house, and a hotel nearby.

I'm not too particular about the venue. If the weather is great on May 20th, outside play is in my best interest. I would like to know how a track court feels like, though.

For one thing, modern track material is great for kicking. And I would also be down to play outdoors if it is supernice. But we should have some backup place for indoor chillin and shredin.

Either way I am there. Is there something that we can do to help the chaperone situation?

we can still run the last day of the event outside at some park; they won't kick us out will they.

Check the time on this post, on my way to work.

the post says 9:33 but it's 5:33 here.

What about party time after the days activity will be aloud to consume alcohol at your house Chris? I know we'll be able to drink on school grounds :D .

I may be moving this a week forward ( weekend of the 13th), but I need to get my hands on a track schedule first.

Hey.
Can I invite the Red BUll New York Freestyle Soccer team to NJ Spike and Skred. We are always looking for cool events to show up at. I think this tournament would be a phat place for them. We could do a small footbag freestyle VS. soccer freestyle battle. Oh yeah~!!! Duff-MAn likes what he hears!

Sounds cool....I'll be out of school on the 9th I believe...n Mt. Olive isn't very far from me...so I'll try making it home for this event...should be a lot of fun! I'd def be down for a 2-day event.
Unfortunately worlds is looking iffy for me...finances are really tight...especially bc most of my money I make this summer needs to go toward tuition/rent/books so yeah...this will give me a chance to get out to a tourney! :)

1) benny, everyones invited. if someone brings a soccer ball, how am I supposed to stop them?
2)Not sure if it will be saturday, sunday, or both
3)tommy, not in Sommerville, in Mount Olive
4)carrie, get a loan :P
5)Drew, I'm sure something can be figured out for afterwards
6)everyone else, if you offered help, I'll make sure to let you know what I need when I know. Right now the only positions I can think of that would be helpful, would be a net director, freestyle director, and judges. directors would mainly be in charge of enforcing the schedule, arranging matchs/lineup, and making choices when others are indecisive.

Should we have a call for prize bags and different shirts and stuff? Will this be a prize money event? If you need stuff like bags I could see what i could do there I'll look for sponsorships from footbag companies and stuff, you say the word and i'll do it.

Thank you. I will take that as official permission from the director of the tournamnet. It is more than just some peeps showing up with a ball. A few palyers will come to chill for 5 hours or so.

I will let my boss know

Thanks.
