Call for prize bags for GRASS

Post by mc » 03 Apr 2007 09:29

The last few years at GRASS, we've had lots of awesome bags to give away for all kinds of events, to the point where an intermediate competitor could walk away from the competition with a hot new bag with which to hone their skills! I'd hate for this year to be different, so if there's any stitchers out that want to promote their product and get their name out, or just bless us with their generosity, it would be greatly appreciated by myself and the RFA!

So far we have bags coming from Nathan P, myself, Waylon, and Aiden. Could anyone else help us out?

I *might* be able to stitch one, that is, if I get my fabric in time, and if I have enough time :?

As long as they get to the tournament grounds, it's all good.

Ben, if you're definitely coming, feel free to bring them. Just let us know a week in advance exactly how many prize bags you're bringing so we can make sure to get them all pre-distributed to events.

RIT is REALLY easy to get to off the thruway, and if you have problems, you can call me (585.797.3244). Tell rob he's wack for quitting. ;) the good weather is just starting, and he showed a LOT of potential. he should be playing. he will be missed.

and if he won't start playing again, steal all his 32s.

see you all soon!!!

I believe I also just scored one / two more 32s for prizes from Erik Savage, waiting on confirmation. wooo!!!

it's starting to look like we're going to have a PILE of bags to give away at this event this year. I'm so psyched!!!! holly's bag looks so nasty.

I'm going to make a few more bags, hone my skills before I make the bag for Grass Matt. Should have it by next Wednesday max.

Sorry Matt, but I won't be supplying a bag. Its not that I don't want to give one, its just that I don't want to stitch. I have no motivation. I hope you can get some much sweeter prize bags than I could ever make.

I'm sending my bag entry tomorrow. Matt probably knows what it'll look like; we discussed the design over PM.
