There's a new posse in town mother fuckers!!!!

So our little club has gone from basically nothing to a full out booming scene in just a few weeks.

Here is a rundown of who is involved:

Jon Mendonca (soon to join)

The club name is (905)SHRED, based around the fact that we all live in the 905 area code.

Yeah! We are slightly different!

Though, I can see downtown Toronto rise up against the horizon if I bike to Lake Ontario.

He just came into our world three days ago, he got his lavers in the mail the day he met me by total coincidence!

We are playing footbag again tonight, geez, I am on another marathon!

I think I will get to go see Pengpeng in the eastern stronghold of (905)SHRED on THursday! It'd be sweet if her ankle is all ready to go and her new shoes I got her fit.

Ooh! Maybe we can both ride cute foldy bikes to the shred spot! It'd save us from having to walk in so much goose shit.

Where do y'all play? Although a 416'er myself, I am extremely close to the 905 area. A few blocks south of Steeles I am, and maybe if y'all play near me I can get in on some shred.

Btw - in like, less than a week (i think) Y'all have amassed more players than FAT has...wtf...

905 SHRED is still going down, even without Big Daddy Mosher here to tell us what to do. Chad and I were discussing running it in Jason's apartment, and I think Chad was gonna talk it over with Jason too.

Also, all you new 905'rs starting up here on modified, throw your name into your signature, and if you want, where you're from. It's just so that people know who you are and where you're from (obviously). There's a post stickied about it that Erik Chan made somewhere, it's a good read.

EDIT: PS. Alex, while Tom was in the country our shred spot was usually at his place, in Oakville. While he's in Germany, we're gonna be scouting out a few different spots I think, but I can guarantee they're all accessible by public transit. If you'd like to come out tonight, that's great. If not, then I'll try and get in touch with you before the next session, and we'll talk about where we might play. Tuesday nights are when we play primarily though, so, that's the day to mark on your calendar.

What a friggen wicked session. It was a one of the smaller 905 sessions this summer, with Chad, Jason, Angele, and myself. Everybody's making some good progress, which is really good. I tried helping Angele a bit with her toe stalls, and I think they're improving, so that's good news right there. I still think that Tom is a much superior teacher to me, so, I can't wait for him to come back so he can help the crew make some really wicked progress. Jason didn't play much, but, I think he still learned a little bit, which is good. Chad is friggen EXPLODING. For a new player he's got a lot of heart, and is really practicing on hitting new stuff on both sides!! I gotta give him a lot of props, because he's really getting started on the right foot (and by that, I mean both feet) which completely contrasts with how I started off, so I'm happy that they're all already learning good both sided habits.

I think that's basically it. Awesome session, guys, and let's try to keep up the good work.

PS. Hunter, I didn't hear from you yet, but I'd like to. If you don't use MSN then PM me your phone number and I'll give you a call or something. We'd really like for you to come out for some shred, even if Tom isn't around. But anyway, be in touch!

Angele needs Lavers and she should contact Kolo for a pair. He has them in her size with the orange tab backs. Wicked styley. I really wanted these for myself at Montreal, but they were just too big for me.
