Who needs a pair?? They are on sale at sportchek here in Canada for $59.99.
I also got a pair of free climacool socks ($10 value) for free, there was a thing attached to one of the shoes, I can't promise you'll get a pair of socks cause it took me like a 10 minute wait for the manager to come and approve it, informing me it was an old promo, anyways enough said, whoever wants a pair, I can hook you up, and if you live in Canada I hope I have steered you in the right direction to finding your next pair of climacools.
This is the only colour way they have, sorry I did not check on sizes, I copped a pair of 8.5s.

I'm well aware that they arent Climacool 1's but they are definitely modifiable. I couldn't go wrong with the price.

no, you could. you DID get the wrong ones, for 10 dollars less than the correct ones.

im sure you could mess with those shoes and kick a bag in them, but at the end of the day, they still arent climacool 1s. its like using stan smiths and wishing for lavers.

very good analogy Brian, Climacool 1's are hard to find in Canada, and Im not prepared to shell out over 2 bills to order them from Europe on ebay. Thanks for pointing out my mistakes though, Im still somewhat new to the scene and am shredding in Lavers, so these climas will take a load off my feet.

Do lots of research before buying stuff if it is even semi-expensive. I guess you learned the hard way. I hope the shoes work out for you. If you're still interested, though, I bought 2 pairs from this site: http://www.eastbay.com/catalog/productd ... port--all/
They ended up being about $110 Canadian per pair, after tax and shipping...

they look good for kicking and would make good work/walking shoes, but there's not much chance those toes are good for freestyle

everytime Ive gone on that eastbay site I cant find any appropriate climacools, as for the toe area on the pair I purchased they arent that horrible as everyone is making them out to be, I had a 32 with me and kicked/stalled in them they seemed good enough.

Thanks everyone for the help, I am returning the shoes I purchased since I havent worn them yet, but I am keeping my free socks haha.
