The trip to Berlin was great, I ate some food that I've never tried before, met up with Yves, Paul, Matthias and Max and got to shred with Yves on Sunday. He was throwing down his usual genuine shuffle goodness :) I'll have some good memories from this weekend for sure.

Now the weather sucks, but it's getting better so finally we'll be able to shred outside more, and do stuff we couldn't do. On Sunday I will probably visit Katowice since there's a shredders gathering :) Tommorow I will also know if I've been accepted to Law on Wrocław's University. I'm a bit nervous, but with some luck I will make it. You can hold thumbs anyway

I got accepted! Yeah! There were 300 places and I'm 283 on the list :) Close call! But they also wrote on their webpage that the limit is going to be increased, since there's a LOT of people who won big science contests and therefore are accepted automatically. Thankfully I don't have to worry anymore :) Party today!

Hey, Lauri, could you guys bring some Salmiakki with you, pretty please? :D I can't wait to see you too! There's so many players registered, 200 to be exact, this is going to be huge. I think it will take some effort to hang out with everyone during those 5 days :)

We did a demo on a festival celebrating the 10th anniversary of a big flood, that did a lot of damage to the city. Our show went good, there was a small crowd and they cheered us. In the end we did a small contest, as usual, giving away bags. Before the demo we had a small shred session, and I did one new thing, which is Double Pickup > DSO BSOS. Maybe I will school them double dexes some more and attempt some cool combos :) On Sunday we're going to visit Katowice, shred and hang out with guys from the south. It should be nice

I had a nice session with Marcin Bujko in the town square today. I think we had a temperature record today, as it was 35 Celcius in the shade 8O Even though the air was dry as Grand Kanyon we shredded for about 1,5 hour. I did some new things, like PS Whirl > Symp. Whirl BSOS and Barfly > Scorpion's Tail BSOS. We also tried some drills, like Pdx Whirl > Stepping ss Swirl, but to no avail :) Tommorow we're leaving to Vienna! It's going to be great :D I still need to do some stuff before. But I've handed my documents on the University already, so that's off the "things to do" list.

I got back from Euros a few days ago, but was to occupied with resting that I didn't write anything :) I did pretty bad, didn't get to the finals in anything and dropped out in semis in both routines and circle competition. I guess that's what happens when you don't practice as much as you should. I felt a bit down about it, since I love to compete and do well (as most of the people  ) but I got over it pretty fast which is a good thing. I'm really happy with how the rest of Polish crew do, we had 5 out of 8 finalists and about 12 people in the semis if I remember correctly. Gielnik got accepted into BAP which is a historical event and I'm very happy for him!

Thanks to everyone I hang out and shredded with!

Andrew McCargar will be visiting Wrocław on Friday, it should be fun.

Just came back home from the session with Andrew McCargar, and it was a sweet sesh! We played in the town square and most of our crew showed up. It looks like the visit of our foreign guest motivated me, because I did manage a bunch of highlights:

Tomahawk x4
Pixie Paradon > Blurrier > Blurriest > Scorpion's Tail > run with Blurry Whirl > Spinning Pdx Whirl, Tomahawk > Tomahawk and PS Whirl > PS Whirl
run with Bedwetter BS, Fog BS and Blurriest > Scorpion's Tail

I'd like to write more, but I gotta go!

Sorry if I didn`t give you enough props when we were shredding, you made it look so easy I thought it was all normal for you. And thanks again for hosting me. My one regret is I was playing so crapy, but I`ll be back again to show you my real game.

We had a session with Franek and Yeti today, so some guests from outside Wrocław. We played in Sawicka Park, which is not really named like that, but we call it this way and nobody knows why. I did 15 Barflys which felt nice, but some of the left ones could be thin. We are organizing a tournament on 18th in the town square - it should be a really nice exposure, because there's tons of people in there all the time.

Tommorow we're having a session in South Park. It should be nice :) I was really close to Symp. Whirling Swirling ss Pickup today, I'll try to hit it there - I already have a name: "Oida"

New stuff:

Gyro DLO > ss DLO > Drifter BSOS
Whirr > Whirling Swirl BSOS

Hit Blur > Pixie Paradon (rpt) a couple of times, and my flip Pixie felt pretty good. Also had one super long run for the spectators (we played in the city center). Our tournament is starting next Sunday, and the preparations are almost complete. There are some problems with the online registration but I'll try to fix it asap.

Session in South Park today, one new drill:

DLO > Pixie DOD (rpt)

My Gyro DLOs were working quite well today, I could BSOS them. Some more flip Pixie schooling resulting in a few ok shuffle runs. We played some Doubles with Olaf and it went very well, we hit some cool combos and some new stuff, like Passage Legover back and forth, or Duck > Miraging Back Passage > Legover. We need to start really preparing for Polish Championships, which are in about two weeks! It's going to be great :) But before that we need to get through our own tournament Swiat Zoski (this Saturday).

Tommorow there's a holiday, and everyone is having a break, so there won't be any sessions. I'll meet with my friends and we'll have a picnic or something, it should be nice.

Hey, Ners. I hope you and Olaf will kick Damian's asses in Doubles Freestyle at Polish Champs :). Hehehe :D. I've got a question: Do you fight somehow with your "catty" Clipper? What's the result of this fight?

Cod - I don't really care anymore. Our tournament is starting tommorow. Michał Ostrowski, Sylwia, Bobek and Norek are already at my place. We just came back from a demo we did for a football tournament. If all goes well we may get to be a demo team for the European Football Championships in 2012.

Our tournament went well I think :) There weren't so many players, but the atmosphere was nice. We played in the town square so there were lots of people in the audience all the time - good exposure for the sport! New stuff from the session we had today:

DLO > Spinning Clipper (rpt)
Whirr > Blurriest (rpt)
Whirr > Tomahawk (rpt)
Fury > Dimwalk (rpt)
Ducking Butter x4 > Ripped Warrior > Ducking Butter b2b > Ripped Warrior > some more Ducking Butters

We stayed at the sports complex for about 7 hours and did lots of stuff. Me and Michał participated in a small Net tournament and won. Some frisbee tossing also took place. Lots of shred of course as well. It was a fun day :)
