I would like crash space, but I don't mind sleeping on the floor.

Whoo! HUGE NYFA turnout!

Hotel info, for people who don't want to stay at the frat or are coming with parents/whatever.

Here are the hotel options I am aware of. If you do decide to book one, probably the earlier the better (there will likely be lots of out of town jugglers coming to the festival).

Holiday Inn Ithaca. Relatively close to the event site. I think it's pretty clean and likely not that expensive.

The Hillside Inn is even closer (its up on the hill where Cornell is), but I've heard people who stayed there say that it's dirty.

Finally, the statler hotel is located on campus, literally a 2 minute walk from the event site. This is a hotel operated by Cornell's world famous hotel school program, so it's super nice, but it's also expensive. I think it's the best hotel in Ithaca.

If you plan on coming to CFJ2, and your name is currently NOT on the attendance list on page 1, please post here. I'm trying to get a head count for lodging purposes.

On the same note, if you are on the attending list and have alternate housing arrangements, please let me know.

See you all soon! :)

If travel plans pan out, I'll be there.

Would I be able to crash at the house?

Hey Ken, I emailed you at ____@gmail.com and posted in your blog. Is there still any available, free crashing space? I would love to come to this, but transportation is going to be enough of a dent right now.

Everybody who has emailed me regarding crash space, assume you have it. People who are on the confirmed list and need space, and have yet to talk to me, please email me asap.

No more direct flights and the Shortest Bus I found there is 12 hours long. Anyone driving in from Erie, Harrisburgh, or anywhere else midpoint from PGH to Ithaca? If I can catch a ride I will bus to where I can grab it.

I really want to make it to this. I don't want to spend the entire weekend on a greyhound though.

If I can coerce Matt to ride with me I may rent a car but being a native New Yorker I am not a long distance driver.

Less than a week til this baby!

Just wanted to remind everybody to try and bring a pillow and sleeping bag. If you're coming by car, there's no excuse not to. The crash space is at a frat house, so while there will be a few couches and cushions, we are only guaranteeing floor space. Things will work out the way they did last year; we provide the free crash space, you guys figure out the couches and floor situation. End of October in Ithaca is usually pretty chilly, but you never know.

Some people have asked me when to arrive. Last year a bunch of people came on Friday night, and others came Saturday morning. Competition starts at 1 pm on Saturday, so if you want to compete, get here by then.

See you guys in less than a week! :)
