hello modifiends,
here's some footage from texas state, which was about a month ago here in austin. unfortunately it does not feature MATT COFFMAN who came all the way from oklahoma, and won, and is the MAN. we are lazy and didn't start filming until sunday afternoon after he had to hit the road. so, sorry we didn't get any footage of you Matt - hopefully we can kick together soon.
playing time: 6:50 seconds
97.36 megs

whoa! Way better video than I would have expected. Matt would have really completed it though.
Cody, your barefoot swirls and everything are remarkable, seriously. So awesome.
Ben, your stuff is looking really really good. Like, it looks a lot easier now, and you're not as flat footed.
I don't think the rest of the people are on fizzied are they? They're good though, I liked the guy without lavers a lot. Good crank and style.

GREAT video, I thought the music fit it perfectly
-I would agree that Curtis' style is very unique, it's even more apparent in person...Was he trying barroquescrew?
-I would also agree that Ben's style is looking better, seems like it has better flow to me
-Cody, I love your style sooo much, I don't know how you kept such a consistent energy bounce in evry trick of all your runs, remarkable. I thought you had a lot of good combos including that last one, I challenge you to hit legbeater>spinning whirl>gyro pickup>rpt because that leg>spinning whirl looked perfect.
-I thought there coulda been a bit more footbage of John, just my opinion
-Where are all the net highlights!!!!!,jk
great meeting you all, thanks

Whoah Cody really nice editing! I just found this today. You made me look really good
Sorry I can't make it to the session tonight, gf's birthday and all.
This was a lot of fun. We need to invite Curtis back up to Austin again.
I haven't played since last Saturday. This made me REALLY want to play again.
Yeah I think that was the first 5>5 I'd ever seen Cody hit, and I was filming at that point. It was out of nowhere, and totally awesome.shredzilla wrote:Haha what? Watching guiltless barefoot shred = fun! Man I saw Cody miss that torque and then I was like, aww I wanted to see that. Then blrywhrl>mobius! So sick.
Thanks man I've really been working on my form and playing on my toes more Glad it's noticeable. I definitely don't get shin splints anymore at all which is great.Isilwar wrote:Ben, your stuff is looking really really good. Like, it looks a lot easier now, and you're not as flat footed.
Yeah James just reads, he doesn't post. Curtis (nikes) and John (other barefoot guy) have accts, but rarely post.Isilwar wrote:I don't think the rest of the people are on fizzied are they? They're good though, I liked the guy without lavers a lot. Good crank and style.
