Someone please call me tomorrow around noon to tell when and where the shred session is. I may not get any calls tonight, so please call me tomorrow. I will be available any time tomorrow after noon.

I said tomorrow too many times.

Peace.

my finals just ended wednesday and i was going through hell with my sleep schedule but im finally on track, i was getting up at like 5 in the morning because i couldnt keep myself awake long enough to go to bed later.

finally today i was able to sleep until 8:30 after going to bed at midnight. i think im straightened out again.

ok Fall/winter break as it is called doesnt officially start until monday so the building with the carpet by the dorms that we played at a bunch last year will very likely be where we play today. i will call and cofirm with everyone when we get closer to playing time.

i would say 2 or 3pm would be most ideal. matt, where are you in rochester?

i also had one of my best strings ever tonight (matt, you missed it, it was just after you stopped playing, i think you were online at the time)

it started off with about 20 contacts genuine with a lot of spins, ducks, and downtime stuff, DLOs, torques, drifters and stuff directly into 10+contacts shuffle with bothsided steps and neo, one strong atomic and neo revwhirl as the last contact of the combo before i dropped

all in all it was around 30 contacts with only 1 or 2 bops

dblspin clipper.

I talked to tomtom and pengpeng and they are really into the idea of coming here for New Year's Eve! having such celebrities will surely allow us to hype to the extreme (that, and they will hype themselves)! The location is big enough for lots of freestylers, if it's available. How much crash space is available? is there a party space? who thinks what?

let me know how I can help.

Last night...

- barfly > barfly
- paradox mirage > reverse whirl > repeat
- infinity > whirl > reverse whirl
- dimwalk > paradox eggbeater
- ducking mirage (x10)

Everything both sides. Reverse whirls feel weird but I guess I'll get used to them. I fixed my pixie sets. I found out I was toe stalling the bag too high up my foot instead of just on top of the toes. This made things a lot easier. I made sure to start almost every string with a pixie set just to get it down.

Peace.

8O 8O barfly b2b!??!?! Yeah Mike!!!! That's huge. And I know what you mean about the pixie sets setting a bit high on the foot. Makes for lots of pixie slaps.

Mike, do you feel like your game is in a serious upswing recently? Looks like your rate of improvement has gone up to the next level.

Something I like about a jump in skill is when you do something, and then think to yourself, boy, if I'd told myself a year ago that I'd be hitting that, I would have been PSYCHED!

Just wanted to give you some props. can't wait to play at YEAH.

YEAH!!!

oh, how about some session updates from last weekend?

Matt,

I do feel as though I have made significant improvements lately in my game. A lot of move elements are coming together for me. My posture has improved a lot which has allowed me to play longer with less fatigue and to perform movements with less effort. My crank has improved but more so my ability to control the bag with my feet. I seem to have a better awareness of where my feet are, where the bag is, and how to project the bag in a more desirable direction rather than setting it upward and chasing after it. My flexibility has improved as well allowing me to perform tricks with bigger windows. Bigger windows allow me to perform certain tricks slower with more accuracy in movement and timing, and a more reliable catch.

For example, last night I hit...

- down double down (BS)
- paradon > barfly (BS)
- ducking butterfly > ducking butterfly (BS)
- toe blizzard (BS)
- toe blur (BSOS)
- trip walk (BSOS)
- walk spin (BSOS)
- far walk spin (BS)

Peace.

damn!! I'm missing ALL the good shit!!

mike, I challenge you to hit gyro legover > pixie whirl > infinity repeat

either that, or with tapping whirl instead. either would be sweet.
