Andrew, let's simmer down here. This topic is for posting footbags that people made, not to mess around with it with unrelated posts. I would appreciate it that there not be a flame war caused by your reckless actions.

I like some of the bags that are posted recently.

Also, I traded the recent 32 that I posted in this topic for the bag that Joshua Rose posted recently. It feels so soft and gushy, I had to trade when he came to NYC just recently!

edit: To tell apart which side is the good or bad side for any facile, you just need to feel it. It's hard at first, but you'll understand: one side feels like carpet, while the other is somewhat rough and abrasive. Just feel for the side that has more exposed and softer fibers. That side is the good side. Hope this helps.

oh yes, they are both charlie brown. one has a white for the stripe, the other has white for the non-stripe parts, the rest is the alternating pinks / red.

I rarely see a Tri-spiral from you, Matt. Sweet! It's refreshing for you to experiment with other patterns besides Charlie Brown and Spinner.

hey guys. im kinda new here. ive stiched bout 10 12 pannel bags and 2 14s. i make them out of just plain old cotten from old shirts.
here is one 12. half flannel, half tan

any advice is appreciated. thanks. more pics to come.

thats a sweet bag joesmo. You might want to put some more gatehr on it because i think i can see some stitches...or try stitching further from the edge.. If you don't know what gather is don't feel ashamed to ask or pm me and i'll tell you.

well when you do a running stitch, which i assume you are doing...its the type of stitch that causes your stitches to look like this: - - - -, you can pull on the string causing the fabric to scrunch up on your stitches.

This allows the stitches to be hidden and puffs out the panels of the bag. You want to pull your thread, then evenly disperse the amount of gather throughout each side and keep each sides gather throught the bag the same or the bag will be lop-sided.

I hope this makes sense.
