Drew ~ Philadelphia
Some Philly kickers, eh? I'm in Delaware, but I all but stopped shredding for lack of people to keep me motivated. I'm up in Fairmount Park a couple times a month playing Disc Golf, so a detour for some kicking wouldn't be a big deal...
If you're looking for new people, lemme know when and where you're kicking and I'll try to make it.

Alright! I'm going to see if anyone is available this week to get some shred in, I'll let you know.Zescape wrote:Some Philly kickers, eh? Where in Fairmount park do you play disc golf? I play at a local state park that has 2 courses, I'll have to join you sometime for some Disc Golf!
Played for 1.5 hours yesterday and 2 hours today.
Drilled flipside stuff, lengthier strings, BOP's, and pixie stuff. I'll have to get some on camera tomorrow and post it up, hopefully get some comments or tips and see if I'm executing everything as smoothly as I hope...
Damn those bags are looking nice. Can't wait to get up to kick with the new Philly crew.

Thanks Steve! We must shred soon!
Found another shredder on campus, Devin Kulp. I was walking by the belltower on campus and see a pixie ducking butterfly out of nowhere...BAM!!
Finished a new bag, will post images later after I fill it.
Played with Tom earlier today for bout 2 hours, then another 2 by myself after he went to work. Had some long strings, 20+ contacts, good progress on flipside whirl, symp whirl for the first time, and other random stuff I forget.
I love the new bags I stitched, they play pretty well, but of course, anything lighter than 100grams is insufficient with Tom

Played for about 3 hours yesterday on campus with Devin Kulp and Steve Johnson, Devin took the train in from Lansdale and Steve drove up from Delaware to shred
I hit some nice strings, drifter B2B, whirls BSOS, some torques, good progress on symp whirls. Devin was busting out some pixie ducking butters and some shuffle moves, Steve broke out the old Lavers and tore it up. Had a great time, can't wait to shred with em again!

Daaaamn, long time no post.
Shred today on campus for about an hour with Carrie. I hate this weather, the cold makes it difficult to find somewhere to play
I've been schooling pixie set, I can smear 4/5, butterflies are improving nicely, been working on swirl, ripwalk, infinity, and then flipside everything.
New stuff-
torque
symposium whirl
dyno b2b
whirl bsos
clipper>spin>clipper
osis bsos
clipper>sole>osis
might start a new bag to work on during class lecture...

Lots of shred in, some new bags too. I'll post more improvements later.

Well hopefully I'll be ridunkulous soon toothen again today with Brian and his step-son charlie, they're both ridunkulous.
See what I mean about Charlie? He plays about 4 times per year. Can you even imagine what he'd be like if he played even once per week?
How's your clipper practice going? You've got a ton of potential, I think if you stick with it, you'll have some breakthroughs really soon.
edit: I'd buy a bag from you with that multi-colored gumball look (left bag in lowest picture above) at say 50 grams at some point. No hurry, next time we get together if you have one maybe.
Bob R.
