Unfortunately I'm not in Berlin right now, and that's because of my exams. School is getting overwhelming, but I managed to sneak a session today, and I hope to do the same thing tommorow. Highlights:

Toe Gyro Clipper BS
Toe Spinning Clipper BS
Toe Gyro Mirage BS
Toe Spinning Pdx Mirage BS
Smoke > DLO (rpt)
Spinning Pdx Whirl > Void

The session was really sweet, because we played in the room that's not in the skatepark, and there was a heater there, so finally it wasn't frozing cold. There was much less noise too, so we could hear my awesome boombox  I schooled Quantum sets with the goal of hitting Blubberman with Slaps, I was kind of close, but need to work on flipside more. In the begginning of the session I did a nice warm up and my body felt very good throughout the shred. My right knee wasn't acting up, which was a nice surprise, so I got hit some Whirls on that side (with much attention to proper technique). I schooled my flip Stepping, and it still sucks. Oh well.

Tommorow we're having a big meeting of our club management, we're going to discuss our plans and projects for the nearest future. After that I'm having my birthday party (my birthday is on 16th, but tommorow the family gathers), and I'll get my own sweet camcorder! :D How cool is that. It's Sony DCR-HC47E, not the best there is, but should be enough for shred videos.

In the evening I hope to shred with Hania, and maybe some other people.

Another session today, here are the highlights:

Toe Spinning Butterfly BS
Toe Gyro Butterfly
Merkon > Gyro Clipper (rpt)
Spinning Pdx Mirage > Spinning Clipper BSOS
Barrage > Tripwalk > Rev. Swirl (rpt)
Drifter > Whirling Swirl (rpt)

I'm schooling Toe Spinning, and it slowly gets better. I haven't really ventured into the world of Toe Inspinning, I'll have to try it next time. My new camcorder rocks, I can't wait to try it out.

I'm getting nervous about my exams.

Cool.
I think gyro clipper is one of the neatest looking I've seen... it's just enough toe to be original and cool, but not so much that it looks out of control :P

You're right Erik, Toe Gyro Clipper is sweet indeed. Today is my 20th birthday, which is cool. I got some birthday wishes from people I wouldn't suspect sending them to me :D I also had a birthday shred session, where I celebrated by hitting some new tricks!

Whirring Swirl BS
Symp. Whirling Far Motion
Pixie Mobius

I managed to land Pixie Scorpion's Tail, but it wasn't executed well, so I'll have to hit it again. The tricks mentioned above, and some other combos are all on my new camcorder, so expect a video of some sort (there's not much, so it will be like a short blog vid probably).

Happy birthday. You should try to go to America for your next birthday, you'd be amazed how many bars will give you a free beer (obviously pick part of America where they actually have good beer). We missed you in Berlin last weekend. Hopefully you'll make it to Todexon. It's been 8 years, I think I'm due to win it :)

So the day after tommorow I'm having my first exam at uni, so I spend most of my time studying, and that means no hack. It's good to see that the rest of the club is pretty active, I like to think that they will keep on supporting the flame of footbag even when I won't be playing anymore (not that I'm planning to stop :) ). Due to my school work I wasn't able to participate in the ongoing process of getting footbag bigger in our country, but I hear that everything is going well and I'm starting to see big opportunities for the sport on the horizon.

It's starting to bug me that I don't do any physical excercise lately, my body is not in good shape and that sucks. I should do better time management and squeeze some sessions into the schedule.

A session! Finally! My midterms are slowly killing me, so it felt amazingly good to relieve the stress and shred it up. We had a solid club meeting, with 6 players present. We played for 2,5 hour so for me it served as much-needed workout. In the beggining me and Wojtas schooled some doubles, we are slowly working our way up with all the concepts, there's still much room for improvement though  We did some progress with dexcuts and hit some bigger links, like front passage to skoczek.

Later on we shredded some more, juggled a bit and I spent the rest of the time coaching Agata. She is making a lot of progress and it really feels good to teach her stuff and see that she won't be repeating the same mistakes I did :) Today she started working on Stepping sets, and it already starts to look good. She tried Whirls too, and got close, but she still needs to get the motion down.

Now I need to venture back to the thrilling world of Logic for Lawyers... :?

Lots of very positive stuff to write about! First and foremost, today I passed my last exam, so I'm finally done with my midterms. The few last days before the exam were the most stressful days of my life, but now I fell reborn :D I have a week of holidays, so I will spend it shredding a lot, doing footbag stuff and all the thigs I had to postpone due to school.

Beggining today, with a sweet session, that lasted about 3,5 hour. I was mostly getting the rust off my legs, but also managed to hit some new things:

Spinning Ducking Butterfly > Spinning Ducking Pdx Mirage BSOS BS
Spinning Ducking Legover > Ducking Clipper (rpt)
Clip set ss Symp. Leggy Mirage (fun, and confusion at the same time!)

Rożo arrived for some juggling, he told me that his knee injury doesn't look to good - that really sucks. It looks like he will need to stay away from footbag for longer then we iniatially thought. I hope you will heal quick Rożminatorze!

Can't wait for next sessions! Stoked on footbag :D

Nice to see that you finally can play :D
I hope Rożo will get better and we can play with him at the nearest footbag tournament ( maybe in Góra? :D ).

Last few days were really fun, yesterday I visited the recently opened Aquapark in Wrocław and had a blast. I was also positively surprised by the high standards and modern solutions that were being used. If you ever visit Wrocław, I recommend taking a trip there :)

Today we had a club session, there were 4 people including Agata, Artur, Radek and me. Highlights:

Torque > DLO > Tripwalk (rpt)
Torque > Ripwarrior
Tapping DLO BS
Tapping Rev Whirl > run with Tapping DLO
Zooming Vortex BS
Neutron Smasher (yay!)

Me and Radek worked on Torques and Zooming sets, and hit lots of drills - it was fun. I worked my flip Clipper and noticed much improvement with set placing. Shredding it up felt really good today, which was kid of unexpected, as I slept only 4 hours today. I hope this good mood will continue, even though due to the laws of this world it will probably not happen

And Todexon is coming!

The session today lasted... *drumroll* 4,5 hour! Phew, that didn't happen for a while :) Here's why: the session was supposed to start at 15:00, and so it did, there was me, Agata and Gosia. We shredded for about an hour, and then Rożo arrived. We played some doubles together and juggled for a bit. Soon it was 18:00 so I started to wrap it up and was just about to leave the skatepark when Radek showed up. It turned out that he forgot his keys, so he couldn't get back home, so he decided to visit the skatepark hoping he would still find us shredding there. Without much choice I put on my shred gear again and started doing drills and combos Radek made up for me to try. To my surprise after about 30 minutes Bujo and his brother arrived to shred it up. Kind of tired, but still pumped to shred I joined the circle. In the beggining I had an adrenaline rush and laid down some cool combos. Soon the tiredness kicked in and I sucked :) But still I managed to get some nice highlights:

Drifter > Rev-up > Drifter (rpt)
Pdx DLO > ss DLO > Dada Curve (rpt) > run with Gyro Dada Curve i Pixie Dada Curve
Eggbeater > Toe Blur (rpt)

And a drill I'm very happy about :)

Blur > Quantum ss Mirage > Toe Blur > Quantum ss Mirage > Tripwalk (rpt)

Nope, Gosia lives in Strzelin, but she visited us :) So, to balance all the good mood I've been in lately, I've injured myself a bit haha :) I might have pulled or slightly tear an upper ligament of my left quad muscle. It hurts a little when I lift my knee. But it's not so bad, so I hope it will heal quickly. I had a similar injury on my right leg, but it was more serious - thankfully I recovered fully. So no shred for me today, which sucks because I wanted to practice doubles with Wojtas. Yesterday I captured some good runs from Agata, you'll see them in the next movie. Before I make it I still need to get more footage though (did someone just say "Olaf"? )

I saw Golden Compass today, and thought it was mediocre. Which is sad, because I was kind of hyped to see it. Oh, I also got my schedule for the next semester, and guess what - I only have classes on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, which makes my weekend 4 days long! How cool is that :D

The movie is finally done! Most definitely one of my biggest projects, even though there wasn't so much footage. Had some problems with compression, and there's one glitch, but in overall I'm happy with the result:

http://www.footbag.org/gallery/show/13869

I still not sure if the movie is short enough. I think that the attention span to shred is not really longer then 3-4 minutes, and this movie is 10 minutes long. Still, there are 3 sections, so I hope it stays interesting :) . I learned some new techniques while editing this, and that's always a good thing. And I've hit flip Furious Drifter!
