Now kicking in Shanghai

I just recently moved to Shanghai, China from Melbourne, Australia and I am starting this blog in the hope that any footbagers stopping by Shanghai will get in touch for a kick.

Today was the first time I kicked since arriving nearly a month ago. It's been to cold for me to kick here with the temp under 10 degrees most days. Today was 14 degrees so I got the shorts and lavers out and had a kick in the park. I found a pretty good place to kick, it's this park a couple of minutes walk from my apartment where a lot of old people go to exercise. There were people playing badminton (without a net), skipping, doing kung fu, dancing and a lot of people just standing around swinging an arm or leg.

Provided the weather keeps improving I'm planning to kick a couple of times per week.

cool! shanghai!!! are you working there?
I'm in China at the first halft of 2009. I'm in beijing, but hopefully do some trips to shanghai, too.
maybe we could meet for a session?

Hi Alf,
yeah I am in Shanghai working. I will be here for at least a couple of years so definately let me know if you are coming.

Weather forcast is for 16 and 18 degrees the next two days so I will hopefully have another kick.
