I will take comments regarding the logo for the rest of this week only. Next week I will work on creating a high resolution version to submit to HTB Press for our t-shirts.

Image

As for sponsors, we have Kolo Sport, Red Bull, and some energy drink that Paul was able to negotiate from Dan Canavan.

Paul, if you could get a logo from Dan for his energy drink that would be great. Let him know we will be printing our sponsor's logos on the backs of our event t-shirts. I can provide him an FTP site to upload the image to as well.

Peace.

Any up for shred saturday or sunday.. need to skool a lot!

Tried to play in my apartment yesterday, but my dog would not let me. Kept stealing my bags.. and would go nuts if I locked him in a room.

Anyone else for a drill session?

aw man I'd love to show up but this is a little short notice. If anyone wants to play any time this week just post it and I'll come.

I can be there at 8.

I can't wait! I had to take yesterday off as Tuesday night I schooled stepping sets and atomics and quantums really hard. I was sore from head to toe. Today there is a little stiffness in my neck but more than likely it will be gone by tonight.

While I am on the subject of schooling hard, I would like to take this moment to thank you all for your continued support. I never thought I would have the game I have today. Although it is not what I would like it to be, it is certainly much better than I would have ever thought possible just a few years ago. It is the constant support of you guys that has made all this possible for me and has kept me progressing forward.

Peace.

GRASS EVENTS

Post by mikeanello » 20 Mar 2008 13:20

GRASS EVENTS.

I need your help in determining how much time we will need, including breaks, for our footbag events. I need to coordinate with Jeff Peden from the RIT Juggling Club within the next few days to guarantee that we have prime floor space during our events.

The events are Sick 1, Sick 3, TEN, Circle, Routines.

The attendees list can be found here:
http://modified.in/footbag/viewtopic.php?t=17922

I think we can accomplish everything while giving people a little break by having two blocks of time for the events. There will be intermediate and open events for circle and perhaps routines if enough people participate in routines. If you think we need intermedia and open categories for the sick and TEN events, indicate that as well.

Time is running out so please respond as soon as you can.

Thanks.

T-Shirt Logos.

I will be placing the order for our t-shirts hopefully tomorrow. I need a logo for XS Water if anyone knows where to find one (Paul?).

I currently have logos for Kolo Sport and Red Bull. Are there any sponsors I am missing?

Peace.

So got some really good news Monday, which is also kind of bad news.

Cisco has offered me a full-time job, so come July I will be permanently moving from Rochester. No more RFA weekly sessions for me :( .

That said, looking forward to GRASS with nearly 30 people coming its going to be a great time.

Anyone up for a session on Saturday sometime?

and congrats Aric on the job. I'll see you in a handful of weeks

Aric, just like that you're back.... and just as soon as you came back you're gone again! I can't handle these mind games!

Seriously though, congrats on the job, I really look forward to playing with you at GRASS.

Oh, and Mike, very nice design, looks epic. I'll definitely be picking one up.

Peace

Guys,

We should establish a time and place for people to meet on Friday. I just received an email from Daniel Soderberg from Jamestown, New York who is bringing a group of people in on Friday and he would like to know when and where to meet people. I know that players will be coming into Rochester throughout the week and Friday, but we should at least have a definite time and place where everyone can congregate. Perhaps we could meet at one of our indoor shred spots on campus.

Hey Mike,

I noticed that you said players would be arriving throughout the week and on friday. Seeing as Matt K is on spring break this week, and I don't have shit to do (big surprise). I was considering maybe coming in a day or 2 early, and we could maybe get some extra shredding in and hanging out. I think paul was putting us up for the weekend at his place. Would this be a good idea? or should we hold our horses til friday?

Peace!

I am always open for some shred with you. However, my Thursday night is booked for band practice so no shred for me that day. Check with Paul for availability of his home as a place to stay. If that is secure, then come up as soon as you like.

Peace.

Yea, I'll be arriving Friday night. I just assumed I'd go to the gym and there'd be people there like last year?
