I know this isn't a link but if you go down to your local foot locker they should have all black leather lavers. Pretty intense. I was there today.

Adidas hemp shoes

Post by Mathieu Latulippe » 05 Sep 2009 14:58

Adidas now has environmentally safe hemp shoes. They're called Adidas Grün (german: green), also sometimes called "gruen" or "grun".
No idea how heavy they are, but if you're looking for casual shoes, search "Adidas Grün" in a browser.

There's a whole bunch more Adidas Grün shoes out there.
If you find any other cool shoes, please right click on its picture, choose "Copy Image Location" and paste it in a Post Reply along with its name.

ive been looking for some g units on uk ebay, the only good ones i found were from international sellers, so figured i'd just post them here

http://cgi.ebay.com/REEBOK-NFL-G-Unit-G ... 286.c0.m14

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/REEBOK-G-UNIT-G6- ... 286.c0.m14

so the last two arent exactly cheap, they're pretty hot though

Can you purchase the red lavers on the internet still?

I noticed that worldfootbag is advertising them anymore and most of the links for them in this thread are broken.

Is worldfootbag now my only option as a consumer?

yeah no, I can't find them either. That's why we shouldn't have used links in this thread, we should have only put pictures and the name of the shoes and the date.

p.s.: I bought those Adidas Gazelle OP Gruen M Mens Trainers and they're no good for playing footbag, too heavy.

im looking at the honey low grun by adidas and it looks very similarly constructed to the rod laver.
the biggest difference i can see [and i wonder how it may affect performance] is the toe 'cap'. the toe 'cap' not wrapping around the toe of the shoe makes the toe 'box' [at the front of shoe] look bigger.
given that there is stitching in place of the last few inches of toe 'cap' [along the front/side] makes me wonder about how a mod would work or even if it would need one. if a mod was done i wonder how it would affect the life of the shoe?
interesting looking shoe though.
