I hope to take pre-orders before they hit the market. Once the prototype is ready, we will have a site for purchase. The first run will only be online. The second run will be instores and online.

*bump*

Any updates? I am very curious to see what this shoe is shaping up to look like. I am also curious to find out how it plays.

So....pictures? ETA? Pre-order dates, etc.?

The first prototype arrived last week. The materials are strong. The sole is the best sole for footbag that I have ever seen. The shoe is a true fit and snug when laced. I sent it back for a few minor adjustments and then production will start. I will post pics of the next prototype with logo. I am very sorry this has taken so long. I am so excited that sleeping is hard to do. I will post more info as I have it.Richard Abshire

Cale, he's already sent it back for a couple of adjustments.

Hopefully he'll post pics when he gets it back

The quantum wasn't durable, the G-unit messed up (some peoples) style, the clima was expensive and difficult to mod.......the monty ward was choice but hard to find....

Still nothing has really beaten the Rod laver in all catagories.

Hopefully this shoe will!!! :D

Well... it's like guitars... lavers are like fender stratocasters. very simple, relatively inexpensive.

There are copies of the stratocaster made of cheaper parts with cheaper manufacturing processes that make for lesser quality guitars.

There are also copies of the stratocaster that are handmade with boutique materials, and, while they maintain the strat "sensibility", a lot of the particulars of the copy are really much finer than the particulars of the original.

Let's hope Richie's is one of the latter,

that is, if it IS laver-like...
