What did you think of galapogos? I've read all on his novels and that was my least favorite of them all. _________________

same here. I've only read three novels by him so far, but this was definitely a letdown in comparison to the other ones. The plot was kinda weird and the end relatively pointless, because from the first page on you what's going to happen...so few surprises. Strange though, on the back Martin Amis - one of my new favourite authors - commented that Galapagos is supposed to be his best novel after Slaughterhouse 5, which I really enjoyed reading.
Well, I think I'm gonna give other ones a try, could you recommend something apart from SH-5 ? _________________

Mother Night for sure. My absolute favorite.
After that I really enjoyed Cat's Cradle and Bluebeard above the others.
Jailbird was cool too. Not really my favorite at all, but I just felt it was very very different. _________________

Really really great book. Thanks for the recommendation Danny! Definitely the best by Vonnegut I've read so far, miles ahead of Galapagos. I just couldn't stop reading this one...I even read it in my university classes unnoticed by my teachers _________________
