Did anyone PM Mike?

Mike fixed it and edited the first post:

I put up a footbag pattern generator at http://patterns.mhansen.org. You can input the side length for the pentagons and both sides of the hexagons and it will give you a PDF with the pattern that you can print.

UPDATE: All phasing.org links should now use mhansen.org instead.
Please note the new link.

Is this pattern making system only used to make a 32 panel footbag. Sorry might just try and make my own footbag. If you can make like a 5 panel footbag what demensions would be good to use to make it golf ball sizeish?

This generator can make an abundant variety of templates. The list goes:
  • 4-panels (triangular panels)
  • 8-panels
  • 12-panels
  • 20-panels (this is just a complex variation of the 8-panel, imo)
  • 32-panels

All it takes is to experiment with the lengths and sizes that you want and go with it.

If you're smart, you can play around with whatever is lying around your house for templates, like, a large lego block for square panels to make 14-panels (which is a nice and easy step below the 32-panel), or even a 26-panel if you want to take it to the next level.

Sewing is super easy. Just think outside of the box, follow the steps to sewing carefully (use the search function in this site for tips), and have A LOT of FUN. :) You'll do fine!

I believe so. I was at least able to make one pattern before it went down. But now I've decided to just draw the patterns by hand using a good ol' compass and protractor.

Food for thought (and not trying to sound like a jerk about it): If you're finding trouble in working with the pattern generator, let Mike Hansen know about it. Sending him a pm works in some occasions, but the best step is to E-MAIL HIM DIRECTLY about the situation.

It's his program. It's his server. He's the person to contact if there's anything wrong.

It's better to let him know about the problem instead of sitting on your hands doing nothing about it.

I just checked it. It's giving .php files instead of .pdf. I'd advise sending a PM to wolfpac444.
