Toe, inside and outside leather removed. Started to colour them in, then changed my mind :D

nice dude, now lose those first eyelets and leave the lacing like it is. It will open up your toe zone and make setting easier.

Are these what normal black lavers are supposed to be? Is there any other kind of black lavers? They seem like a mix between leather and mesh, I've never seen or had black lavers before, just the green mesh ones. When modding It do I cut out the outside, or the inside layer of material?

those are leather i believe. john goode has a pair that he uses for walking in, there's nothing wrong with this particular type of laver. for mods, you want to remove the outer layer (the leather) and leave the inner canvas intact.

I wish this post was made a couple weeks back before I butchered the exact same pair of black lavers.

Instead of removing the outer layer, I decided to remove the canvas from the inside, and I've been kicking my self in the ass every since. What appears to be mesh is really some type of leather or rubber and prevents you from feeling the bag what so ever. Unfortunately I found this out a little too late. I dropped 80 bucks on these shows and I hate for them to go to waste.

Is there any way to fix this?

Stefan, sensitivity isn't as important to me as grip. I believe that if you took some sandpaper and roughed up the leather, you would have increased grip.

you can see if the roughing-up method makes the shoes more playable. if not, i believe there are a couple folks who have removed both layers and sewn in ultrasuede, but do some research on that here first before cutting anything else. if matt's tip works for you, just leave it at that :)

I know that Paul Agostinelli has done this with his clima cools and used and old t-shirt as his material. Seems to work wonders for him!

Hope that helps!

I've already looked at the pictures on the site, aswell as Flexthis' nucleus.

But if theres anyone who has black Nucleus could please post mutiple shots of the shoe from different angles?

And could someone please make an in-depth review on them, I just might buy them.

These shoes basically kick ass. They're so light and built to my foot. I have to wear already ripped-toe socks though or I'll eventually run out of socks. :P

Nah, I use my shoes until they're actually done. They're 5 years old and I'm ACTUALLY poor. I'm not "work full time and waste my money on fast food and stupid shit I don't need" poor.

Do you just play footbag in them, or are they for everyday use as well?
