Daaaaamn! I know not all the ducking tricks were clean, but still, I've never seen that many ducking tricks in a row (54!!!!). Add in the first trick, and the diving/ducking trick... ridiculous run.

Thanks for this!!

I remember this run from Sam's Respect the Shred - that was
my favourite run of the whole video! Great to see it again in a single
clip!!

What an incredible run. Mindblowing.

That was like jumping into a cold bath after a hot summer shred.

Some of the first ducks may not be 100% accurate, as I didn't start paying SUPER close attention to direction until about 1/3 of the way through. It's tough in chunky YouTube quality >____<

Lon is the shit, great style, AMAZING string.

I remember watching this string in person, and wondering if he would ever drop the bag. Laughing

Thanks for the memory Ben!

Thanks for posting one of my best footbag moments Ben.

I remember thinking that I should try only harder ducking and diving combo's because I didn't want to bore Jordan with just a lot of ducks. I was trying hard stuff thinking I would drop it. It's not like I was trying to set a record for ducks and dives.

I know it seems like a lot but Jim hit 95 in a row and several other players have done over 50 in a row.

Ken Somolinos, What do you mean not all of them were clean?! Name One.

It's hard to read tone over the internet, so I can't tell if you're being defensive or not. I hope you're not; I hoped my original comment made it clear that I was blown away by the run. To reiterate: this run is one of the sickest I've seen. I'm not trying to take anything away from it at all.

Now to answer your question. In my opinion, a duck/dive is comprised of two parts: a start and a finish. Either of these can be deep, thin, or the. A deep duck/dive is when the bag passes between your ear and your neck. So if you freeze video of a clean duck, the bag will be located between the ear and shoulder. A thin duck/dive is when the bag passes between the ear and the top of your head. You sometimes hear this called "crowny." A "the" duck/dive is when the bag doesn't circle the head at all.

In any ducking/diving trick, the bag circles the head, passing an ear twice: once at the start, and once at the finish. In a fully clean duck/dive, the duck/dive is deep at the start AND at the finish. In your run in this video, you hit many fully clean ducks/dives, such as at the 0:33 mark when you do a ducking clipper. It is also possible to do a ducking/diving trick where the duck/dive starts off crowny, but ends deep. The 0:33 mark of this video of me provides a good angle of such an example, on the spinning ducking clipper. The duck starts off crowny, but ends deep. I consider this type of execution to be thin. It is also possible to hit the start and end of a duck/dive crowny. Your tricks at 0:28, 0:29, and the 0:50 marks of the video all start and end crowny. I'd consider them thin at best.

While it's theoretically possible to start a duck/dive deep, and end it thin, you don't tend to see this often. Usually it's deep/deep, thin/deep, thin/thin, or straight "the."

I hope this cleared up what I meant.
