Id like to unveil the new UK footbag website that has now been put up
http://pureshred.co.uk/
This site serves a different purpose to some other national sites. With others supporting an existing scene, here, Ian Cozens, Nick Sullivan and I have tried to create a very accessible website specifically aimed at those new to footbag in the UK.
It mainly serves as a links hub guiding those interested in the sport to introduce and explain in basic terms the sport and also provide access to relevant material to help those people find appropriate gear and tutorials for learning.
Any comments and suggestions to help us hone the site for meeting this purpose would be greatly appreciated
Matt

Props for launching the site, it's a great idea well executed. I hope your work will lead to the increase of footbag popularity in UK!

I really like the design and the video. It's a very simple layout and a great video to introduce freestyle to anyone. I also like the text below the video as it explains the basics of what freestyle is and then you have a lot of really good links to back it up. Very nice Matt

First impression - looks good!
How about adding local player listing and contact info, so someone living in your vicinity can contact you directly and not go through the puresred email?
One thing that bothers me is the picture on the right - the idea is good but the execution could be better; The player's body posture is not very aesthetic and the bag looks like it's coming out of the player's behind.

Pretty much agree with my israelian friend.
The background of the graphic is also a slightly different color from the rest of the background.
I also think it would be nice to credit Mads Hole for using his (amazing) video.
