Playable g-units? Yay or nay?

Also:
I realize there is no lip on the clipper area like usual climas but if an inside mod was done it seems as if that would still be sufficient to make these playable.

AHAA!
Persistence has paid off with actual playable climas. sizes 14/15 only though 8 ( Else I'd snatch some up

I've tried the first climas you posted. They have a very small, very difficult toe area.

Has anybody tried this model of rod lavers? The sole is different and looks more casual.

Those are shit. Don't buy them if you plan on freestyling with them. The clipper roll-off is badder than bad.

Footbag is good for the SOLE

I've been looking for more all-black lavers because mine have finally started falling apart. I don't shred in lavers, but the black ones are great casual shoes that can pass as semi-professional looking which is why I like them.

The all-black ones are nowhere to be found, but these are the closest ones currently in production: http://www.adidas.com/us/product/mens-o ... _vc=SEARCH

Chris - it was nice meeting you at the ECFC this weekend! I hope you had a good time. I wish I could have shred with you because I could have learned a lot, but my judging responsibilities kept me busy.

I buy regular white Lavers and have a shoe repair shop dye them black for me for about $20. They look pretty good when they're done. There are three drawbacks though:

1. The part of the shoe containing the eyelets (not sure what type of material it is) ends up cracking after some use and the original white may show through.
2. The bottom of the sole remains whatever color it was when you received them. I bought green lavers so the sole is green.
3. After using them for a while they may require touchup. I shred in mine, so they get pretty beat up.

I can send you a picture of them if you like, just let me know.
