who would be interested in more formalized events? i.e. who would sign up if we had routines or shred 30? or would you guys rather just do side events such as mirage races and four square?
also, would people prefer a tightly packed and planned schedule, or would people prefer to have a guideline type schedule of when we're shredding and stuff and just do your own things every night since it is vegas?

I'd love to compete in as many events as possible. My top three events I'd most like to see, in order of preference are:
1. Routines. It's always good to practice for Worlds, and its spectator friendly. Probably not hard to judge if it's limited competitors.
2. Circle. Easy to run, fun, makes for an easy video.
3. Request. Also easy to run and fun for spectators.
Oh, and I wasn't kidding earlier when I suggested a poker game. I think it'd be sweet to see poker tourney results at a Vegas footbag event.

Booked my flight:
3/25 Friday - Arrive: 8:35pm, Las Vegas, NV Las Vegas Mccarran Intl (LAS)
3/28 Monday - Depart: 10:45pm, Las Vegas, NV Las Vegas Mccarran Intl (LAS)
From my understanding, David Beyers and Drew Martin are confirmed for Las Vegas Jam, as well as Ben Cooke. See y'all there.

I'd sign up for routines and circle if they're happening, but would also be happy to keep it to side events.
Re the schedule, I'm also not fussed on how it's run. I think it'd be a good idea to have the nights semi-organized (eg. you mentioned a party at one of the hotels), so we at least start out the evening as a group. And following on from earlier posts, maybe have a couple of options for late evening as it sounds like some people want to keep it cheap and others want to put lots of dollar bills in things.
Also, I can run the poker if it's any hassle for your mom.

followed by request, then cirlce.
stanford has a bunch of bails. i'll try hard to drag em along, but it may just be me and steve reppin the crew. ps. i heard senor goldberg will be gettin something like last year (crazzy arrrrnold room) and i'm sure it can be a hangout spot for a night! i'll likely be crashin thurr.

I really wanted to goto this jam, but the Canadian airlines are just not cooperating. The flight prices have never dropped below $700 and are now well over $1000. Barring a miraculous seat sale or spontaneous teleportation I think I might not be making it.

the word is that I wouldn't book a hotel room. i have a couple people looking into getting rooms for the jam and i'll update you soon, but jon from vegas is looking into getting a room at the new york new york and having people crash there and my buddy brian who posted on this thread said he may also be able to get rooms. also jeff may be attending and may be able to host 3-4 people. its all a little up in the air right now, but i have faith that most of it will go through.
