East Coast Footbag Championships 2011
I will have bags for sale by the time this tourney comes around. I don't mind sharing a room with people. Non-smoking preferred, but I'll go with whatever works with people with whatever they want to do.
Kind of stoked about taking a tour around Rutgers Uni. or even playing on campus.

"Footbag can be pretty frustrating when it's supposed to be fun. I was partly driven by this forum - practice, practice, practice... As that is true, I think someone can be too focused on progressing and training that they miss the fun aspect of it." - Bander87

Ok well, I'm definitely trying to plan this out... I have more than a full car coming from PSU to this thing... Definitely trying to get the ball rolling... Is there a host hotel for this thing?
Edit: I'm a dumb ass.
Went to footbag.org and saw the hotels lol
I just have to talk to my crew about if they're cool for chipping in on the room. If everyone's cool with the costs, then it might be looking like we have a full room, there are about 8 or 9 players from our crew interested in going.
Will talk to the guys and see final total attendance... So excited... This might very well be 6 or 7 players' first tournament

I think NYFA is getting a room, just gotta figure out which one of the two hotels listed will have more party people partying at it
Drew K, you can probably squeeze in with us, but if it's six of us (Drew M, Dave B, me, Wayway, hopefully Barrrett and you) then we might have to play reverse beer pong to figure out who gets which sleeping spot.
To those not in the know, reverse beer pong is when you win by never actually making a shot. Missing the table completely on bounces is kind of like a slam dunk. I don't want to brag, I'm currently the champion of this litle known and underappreciated sport.
Pretty psyched about this! I wish my knee was feeling a little better, but whatever, it's gonna be fun!
The trophies are done, and I'm hoping to have some keychains and/or East Coasters for reverse sale
I hope we can scrape together a lot of intermediate freestylers willing to compete, because I made trophies for them...
Nick P, as Master Newbherder, you're in charge of making this happen!

Nick is like the sheep dog of footbag. Everyone who needs a place to crash please speak up so we can figure out how many rooms we will need. Also if anyone wants to donate prize bags that would be much appreciated.

Hahahaha! Just cracked up about that! I will certainly ask my noobs if they would compete. My noobs are getting pretty good pretty fast, so hopefully I can persuade some of them to compete.Max Power wrote:Nick is like the sheep dog of footbag.
Nathan and I have been drilling hardcore for this. Gonna be fun!
Still have to see who all is coming.
