Well, the bag in my most recent post got lost. Someone kicked it up onto a really high place.

Didn't even offer to pay for it...

That's a bummer, Billy. Some people just don't understand how much sweat and blood goes into a footbag.

Marco, I actually have some of that black stuff too. Zach Hoffa gave it to me a while ago. He got it at this place called, "Joanne's Fabric Shop". I can't wait to make a bag out of that. Yours looks sick and I bet it looks ever sicker when you're kicking with it. I remember we used to use a bag with that black dotty fabric under a light and it would gleam and shine... so cool.

I have both of those fabrics :) but I know someone else had the shiny polka dot stuff besides me...

I like to trade fabric for fabric! or sometimes for a bag.

Here's a little something I've been slowly working on over the past few month or so.
I've made a few more star bags recently (don't have pics) and that got me thinking that this might not be such a bad idea again..

I've always wanted one of these for myself, and the last one I attempted was too large, and broke a stitch while closing the blind stitches, so I gave up on it and never kicked it.

This still took me forever to complete, but It's as good as I could have hoped for.

Here is my first shred size, Low gather, Low bite... facile 92panel!
60 tiny bleed holes, and 65g

It's dark, so I can't get a really good photo of it atm.

D., what is the size of your template ? the 92p i made was too big and your's got the perfect size.

It's been a while since my last post in here ... here's my latest bag
pents are made of Ultra Suede Elite. Its thicker than USL but softer than USS.

The bag is bigger than a golf ball and i think it's about 70g. I'll let you know how it breaks in if you are interrested in USE

My latest. Also my first 2 stitch attempt. At least I think it's a two stitch. . .

Self critique: It's too big. It's not even at all. It's already been leaking fill.

Suggestions and tips?

Nice bag Akalazou. I like how the thicker elite makes the gather really show.

Thanks Lotus. I made my template with the same sizes as my star bags, so I was sure it would be the correct size this time! The colours are sort-of intentional. I was going to have green pents too, but decided on 2 colours in the end.

Sen, I reckon reduce the size of your bleed holes by about half on your next bag and see how you go. This should bring the overall size down, and help to keep in your filler. Maybe even try making a new template with all edges 1mm shorter, and the short sides of your hex's ~40% shorter.

I curious about the 2 stitch part. You said jk, but I think you must have meant something from it. I decided to try s 2 stitch because it's faster and I thought it might be a good way to practice my stitching and be able to see the outcome faster. Do you think I'd be better off with 3 stitch? Or do you just prefer the look of 3 stitch. Really interested in your answer.

I've made a 2 stitch with a large template. The bag probably turned out the size of yours, and it was leaking filler.I don't know where your filler was leaking from, but mine was leaking from the stitches. The stitches were too big, so the fabric from inside the bag started slipping out. If that's why the filler is leaking, make the template smaller so the stitches are smaller.

i just dont like how they look. if you like them, thats cool. they are faster stitched for sure, and for some bags i use 2 stitch as well, just because it would get too tiny otherwise (f.e. 92´s or starbags) but on a 32 i think 3 stitch looks best. but again, if you like to make 2 stitch and if you like how they look go ahead and do it.

Well, Here's crack number 2 at 2 stitch and number 5 at 32 panel with usl.

Again, all criticism and advice is welcome.

I think this one may be somewhat playable. Wish I had better filler. And I may have went a little too small on the template, it's a little smaller than my dead Abshire Mini... I was going for regular size. lol

I've just finished a couple more bags that I'm rather please with.

First up is a 3 stitch, 1 colour... full leopard print. Never seen one like this on here before.

And here we have a 4 stitch, soft as f***. Sherbert orange and (green mist?) both really thin colours.
ImageImage
Both bags are glof ball size, half full to 63g.
Both are available for sale or trade!

Sen, I would recommend a bigger template with the same gather tool.
This will result in a much higher gather, which I think is the way to go with 2-stitch.
Dean, that 4-stitch is JUICEY!
