So Ive been having a bit of a break from footbag for the past few days cause of the weather and shinsplints, well mostly cause of the weather, if it was nice i most likely would have played anyway. So i guess i should thank the weather for being so nuts (seriously four seasons in a week?!) cause it seems to be the only thing to stop my stubborn ass. But not playing has been really bumming me out so i had a decent impromptu session today. I was on the porch of my apartment having a square and decided to play a bit and see what happens. For one thing it sucks to play in jeans but for some reason spinning clipper decided to click today which made me really happy. I did a bunch of them, not just four or five after tons of tries but like twenty and i even got some cool links to them too. Namely ripwalk>ss clip> spinning clipper, blur> butterfly> spinning clipper, and even ducking clipper>spinning clip.
Also last week i learned ducking osis and was able to link ducking clip> ducking osis. And finally i got to end the session with a spinning osis :D

Had some good strings today, pushed past 15 contacts on a few runs. Im also able to throw illusions into my runs as well, which have "elluded" me for some time. Idk why but the dexes just make more sense now, so ive been able to hit some smudges and blurry illusions.

Blurry Illusion = Blizzard

Hell yeah man. Props on the 15+ contacts. Try to tighten up your dexes as much as possible too. Good to hear that you've been working basic tiltless stuff more.

It might be a cool idea to have a set number of tiltless contacts and then you try to break that number at least once a week. So week 1, you have 15, then by the end of week 2, try to get at least 16. You will wreck your records if you do it this way.

Good luck. Looking forward to seeing future videos.

Just had a really solid session with lots of better strings with less toe tricks and more clipper. Ive been drilling osis and spinning more and theyre slowly getting stronger. Although im still struggling with my week osis a bunch, if i could get it as consistent as my strong side id be able to link multiple osises much more. Oh and decided to try pixie ss rakes bs, those were pretty fun. I ended my sesh on a really good string too, i think it was something like spinning clipper> op clip> pdx mirage> leg over> butterfly> osis> legover> mirage> butterfly> ducking clipper> whirl> clipper> pdx mirage> dlo> op cliper> spinning clipper :D
Not sure if thats exactly what went down, but i know it was a very similar solid run

Yeah man i agree, i feel like now that i dont have as much documentation of my progress im not hyped as often and i dont get critiques anymore, but ill try to use my computer cam soon to feed the wolves. Keep up the progress man, once your alternating clippers kick in it gets really fun!

Sorry for the poor quality guys, it gets progressively worse as the sun sets. I would have had longer strings but I skated 6 miles earlier so my legs were tired. But this session did point out to me that i really need to strengthen my osii. I keep practicing them but theyre just so sucky. I had a link with an atomsmasher as well but i couldnt find it in the footy, but it happened when it was darker so wouldnt have been good veiwing anyway

Took a lil trip to the city today and met up with Tom, Johnny, Tim, and Joel for a lakefront session. It was fantastic, great to play with other people for a change. I was surprised to be able to throw so many eggbeaters into my strings today, and I finally landed spinning ducking clipper!

Just got in from an extensive session. At first i couldnt hit shit, but after two hours i guess i was warmed up :p
I'm proud to say that this session focused heavily on runs, both on duration and difficulty. I think I only tilted in a couple runs, other than that they were all tiltless and even a few guiltless runs. I wish I had filmed some because I cant even remember them all, but a few did stand out. Blur>op butterfly>whirl>pdx mirage>legover>illusion>dlo>ss butterfly>osis>ss pickup>drop. I wish i could remember the specifics of other runs but i definitely had some that im proud of. Even though I focused on runs today, i did manage to get some new stuff.

 Ripwalk bsos
 blur bsos
 sidewalk bsos
 Crispy torque bsos
Since my torques just werent workin today i decided to try these out. After two attempts on my weak side i ended up throwing them both in a string for my first time landing em wtf.

I worked on spinning ducking clippers more and even threw in a run after one. And finally,

 Sick 3 of the day: Spinning clipper>ducking clipper> ripwalk

So I rolled my ankle twice last saturday and havent played on till today. It was feelin pretty good so I decided to have a quick session at the quad after my topology class. I ended up surprising myself with some really strong strings. There were a bunch of tour groups goin around cause its the summer, and when one passed by I made sure to put on a good show of course. Had a good 30 contact run and left some kids geekin out, it was a good day.

Had a great session today and I got plenty of footage! I tried to keep only the good stuff to get the video under 5 minutes (who wants to see 10 minutes of my legovers and drops right?).
