The feet of a rhino are called "hooves". On each hoof, a rhino has 3 toes. Because they have an odd number of toes they are called "Perissodactyls". On each of this Rhino's hooves are hoof covers called "Rod Lavers." The Rod Lavers are usually modified to suit the Rhino's ability to catch and kick a "Footbag" or as the majority of humans refer to it as a "Hacky-Sack" This is a shot of this Rhino's new Hoof Covers before modification:

So... I've been REAL sick. I just got back from the hospital. I'm feeling a little better now. Man. No Footbag for sick folk. I guess it gave me some time to let my knees and joints and stuff recover from all this shredding I've been doing.

My wife and I have ordered the 10 minute trainer.

I honestly believe that once I get in shape, I will be a pretty good footbagger. I mean because... Tricks aren't too tough for me... But strings are extremely difficult for obese folk. And you know what? It would have taken someone with some extreme audacity to say something like... Hey Paul, um, yeah. You're fat and that's why you suck at Footbag... So get skinny and shred.

I've got a confession or 2 to make if anyone has made it this far.

I went to worlds in 07 and back then I was A judgemental jerk but I didn't realize it until recently. So while I was there a guy with a cocked DC hat came up and sat by me. He introduced himself. He said "Hello, my name is David Clavens." And I thought to myself whoever this guy is he sure is full of himself. It turns out he was the number one ranked footbagger in the united states of America and he was kind enough to introduce himself to an unlikely kicker like me. So now that I realized I blew off one of the worlds most talented and dedicated shredders I sure am ashamed of my judgemental mindset. Yeah. He's pretty much one of my heroes now like he is to most of us on here. And yeah, that worlds 07 was full of similar mistakes I made while I was there. But I've changed a little since then. Peace.

Hey Dude, I hope you get better soon and make a full recovery! It's great to hear you've ordered 10 Minute Trainer. I spent 4 months doing those workouts and I think I lost about 30-35 lbs with it. I even modified it to be able to do a workout from the program and then Play some Footbag as well. Once I'm at my ideal weight I plan to go back to a system like that to keep my muscles in shape and building.

Let me know if you have any questions on the program. :D

Its good to see that your kicking again. Hope you feel better soon.

I'm not living in Michigan anymore, but maybe when I come back to visit we could get a shred going.

Sorry about the things I said to you on the Michigan forum all of those years ago. I was a closed minded young punk, a lot has changed since then.

ZJ, I've been reading your stuff and I saw your latest impressive rpt vid! And Honestly, I don't remember that stuff on the forum. And whatever you said was in response to my judgementalism. I think we must have both changed a lot in the past few years. Glad you stopped by, thank you!

Yo Paul. I just found this new blog of your's. I thought you disappeared for a while or something since I didn't see any new activity in your old blog. I caught up on all of it. Please tell me you named your daughter "Genesis" because of the footbag trick :P

Looks like you've been making a serious comeback. However, you're doing the same thing that I did when people suggested that I go back to my basics... you went back and started practicing your 3 adds. If you really wanna see a change in your game... go back to your 1 adds. Sounds very annoying but your jaw will drop when you see how good you will get by just solidifying those basic of all basic tricks.

And listen to Tony, buy the Vasek manual if you haven't already. You won't regret it. Best 5 bux you'll ever spend... unless you find a "sucky sucky five dollah" midget hooker... that's a different story :P

Anyway, I will be following this new blog now that I know it exists. Good luck dude. Keep on kickin on.

LOL@ sucky sucky!

I actually found out there was a Footbag move AFTER I named her that and I thought.... Man, all the guys are gonna think I'm so lame, naming a kid a Footbag trick. lol. I was way off.

So what I've.been doing.really is.training 2 adds. Then at the end of that I do a lil work with all the sets I can do and then throwing in the mirage, illusion, switch and pickup. BUT with that being said... According.to you that's still not far enough back. And I believe you. Il start when I recover from this illness.

GO WORLD WIDE PLAY FOOTBAG DAY!

Good to hear you've been training your 2's. I actually had the same thing happen, people told me I needed to go back to basics, but I really WAS. I just wasn't posting about them... only the new tricks I'd been hitting. Sorry about that. You can definitely continue drilling only your 2's, but if you REALLY want a strong game in the future, you should definitely master 1 adds. If you start at 2 adds, I feel that you will have a pretty solid game in the future, but you might have a couple annoying holes in your game. For instance, I feel that since I hit all of those 1 adds on bs 100 times, I have little-to-no holes in any of my 1 adds. My 2's, 3's, 4's, and 5's (maybe even 6's?) got a little taste of that very basic work and little parts of those tricks were improved (but I don't really realize it yet, since I haven't tried a lot of those bigger tricks in a while).

ie. I know you have a pretty good Paradon, but to get even better at Paradon (and beyond), you would follow something like this (I have my suspicions that Peter Irish did this for all of his bigger tricks he hits.. I might be wrong though. If you watch his game, you'll see what I mean)...

1 add) Get sick at Toe Delays, get sick at Clipper Kicks (Meanwhile, your 2 adds are getting stronger, without you realizing it...)
2 add) Get sick at Illusions, get sick at Clipper Delay (Meanwhile, your 3 adds are getting stronger, without you realizing it...
3 add) Get sick at Delusions, get sick at Reverse Whirls, get sick at Butterflies (Meanwhile, your 4 adds are getting stronger, without you realizing it...)
4 add) Goal achieved. With all of this previous work on all of the smaller tricks, you'll be able to hit Paradon's like a champ. You'll be at the point where Paradon will feel like a little illusion. You'll exert little to no energy to hit this trick now. Now you can even start working on Scorpion's Tail or Blurriest, or Blurrier.

Trust me on this... You'll see massive improvements if you start mastering your 1 adds.

Looking at the one adds on Footbag.org.

Around the world kick looks hard. And wouldn't that be a 2 add? Oh well. its just gonna have to get done.

Around the world kick is only a one add as the only component that gets an ADD for it the dex. Kick doesn't get an add.

Do you still have a shaved head? If not, I'd highly suggest shaving it before drilling ATW Kicks, because you won't be able to rip the hair off of your skull.

ATW Kick is a bitch to learn on flipside. Especially to get that toe flick at the last moment juuust right. Props for wanting to do it though.

Yeah, Tony's correct, it is a 1 ADD. And it's kinda fun to do after you get pretty good at it. Rather than just doing toe kicks before you start a run, you can do a few atw kicks and look just THAT MUCH cooler :P

Well, you've inspired me to go drill my basics some more. So I'll do that now. Thanks! Continue the contacts!
