Um...Challenge me?

Postby Matt K » Fri Apr 07, 2006 9:32 pm

I'm a tiltless player (though i can do lots of 4's, i shouldnt be able to :x) and these challenges look fun, so i though i'd try.

For sets I can do:

 Pixie (one side)
 Stepping (decent regular, shitty flip)
 trying to learn Atomic BS, but isn't coming along
 Spinning i just learned from both clippers and can do basics tricks with it (Spinning Clipper, Spinning Butterfly, and Gryo Mirage. all BS)

so any good challenges you guys can come up with would be much appreciated :D

Done
Pixie>Legover
Dimwalk
DATW (one side)
Stepping Clipper (and for further reference, Ripwalk BS, Sidewalk BS, and Blur one side)
Infinity x10
Pixie>Op Pixie>Rpt
Mirage>Legover>Rpt
Smear
Pixie Xbd Rake

In Progress
Eggbeater (hate this so much )
Spinning Pdx Mirage
Gryo Butterfly
Spinning Clipper x5
Spinning Butterfly x3
Infinity>Ducking Clipper>Osis>Pdx Mirage
Ripwalk>Ripwalk
DATW BS, Both Ways

thanks for the reply Brian!
only problem is, i'm a tad more advanced than that

If anyone could suggest some 3 add links, or 4 add tricks, that'd be helpful

spinning paradox mirage
gyro butterfly
spinning clipper x5
spinning butter x3
infinity>ducking clipper>osis>pdx mirage
all both sides for the stuff above
and ripwalk>ripwalk

a little more information on your game would be helpful, like what tricks you are good at and what tricks you have trouble hitting.

alright more info about how i play...

well, i've got all the 2 adds dialed, and of the 3 adds, i can do BOP's and Whirls in my sleep.

All the other 3 adds it takes a few tries. I only learned spinning last week, so i'm still working on my form.

I'm am terrible at ducking, i used to be able to do ducking butterfly fairly well, but i lost the duck. it mostly hits my neck or my shoulder now.

Pixie set i can get about stomach to chest high, but i really haven't tried much out of it. Fairy is just non existant, because i don't get it at all

Thanks Janis, those are quite odd, but i'll work at them. I've never done a flip pincher, but i used to do them regular all the time. Shouldn't take too long.

The heel stall may turn into a big problem. When i played in DC's, Heels were super easy, but the laver's heel is about 1/3 of those.

And since somebody suggested ducking, could someone explain how to do it without it clipping my neck or shoulder?

ok, i haven't checked this or updated in a while, but i just hit Pixie Xbd Rake, and it reminded me of my challenges. I decided that i do not want any of the unusual challenges (sorry Janis), or any spinning stuff for a while, i kinda lost it, and am gonna wait to get it back.

More please :)
