I think they should offer a discount to those who pre-order for two reasons. It would help the adjust what they order to figure out how many they need to make of each size. Also, they would get cash up front

i've been waiting for the quantum mk2's ... i didn't get the first version because of the postage costs and i was afraid of getting the wrong size.

could someone tell me how the sizing compares to lavers ...
if i take a US size 9 in lavers, do i order a US size 9 in quantums?

@lotus
I have lavers size 10 and I bought also size 10 quantums.. they fit but sometimes I slip off because they dont fit perfect, theres a lil space between shoe and foot.. not often but sometimes.
One of my friends got 9.5 and they fit perfect.. At the beginning the shoe was really tight and I had a pressure at the big toe but after broke in they fit totally perfect.

So I would suggest you buy a half size down.

Hey Lotus. I bought some Quantums when they first came out. I actually bought a whole size lower than my lavers; and they fit like a glove.
US 11 laver=Size 10 Quantum. hope this helps. :)

Giving everyone a heads up.
Save your cash for worlds
Buy Quantums from Freedom Footbags at Worlds!!!
> totally my opinion! it's absolutely worth buying quantums.

As far as I know pf is gonna produce smaller/bigger sizes in the future (6,13 e.g.) I'm not sure whether these sizes are already included in version2. But sure is that you can buy qm02 at world's this year. And even after worlds they still should be available at the freedom footbagshop.

well, the official release for qm02 is scheduled for euros 2007 (July 19th) (witout delays)

About the sizes:
US 11 laver=Size 10 Quantum. hope this helps.
> usually this statement is true. the problem is that feet are different in shape etc. best would be to try a shoe on and figgure out what size you need. also consider the socks you're wearing.

About the colors:
Yeah, there are gonna be new colors for version2. Maybe pink, maybe green, maybe blue, maybe brown. Anyway, this is gonna be a surprise.

About the shipping costs: (for those without access to the freedomfootbagshop)
There is a new calculating system for the shipping costs at the international-shop (www.planetfootbag.ch/shop)

Keep shredding and get ready for worlds/euros!

I would love some green or blue or red quantums... or even grey/silver color would be sweet, just anything to get away from the normal white (or at least dirty white) and black of normal footbag shoes. Thanks for the information and the update, it's much appreciated on my end. Can't wait for quantums!

i totally, without reservation, want all black quantums.
the fact that the black version sold out and the white didn't tells me that there are sure to be all blacks again in the v2's.

I'm not sure. It's probably kinda difficult to produce lots of half sizes. Every size more means they have to calculate the things again etc. That's why there are right now (and with version2) only 2 half sizes (9.5, 10.5). Remember, it is not the perfect footbagshoe yet. After some other versions, or say, after achieving the perfect shoe there's gonna be the entire sizerange for sure. Although this will be the case in a few years.
