Haven't heard Greenball..but Jel is the man. He does so much awesome collaborative work on Anticon.

I own 10 Seconds, which is another sick solo album. Ch-ch-ch-check it out.

I duuuuuno about Anticons stuff. Dictionary MC's dont do it for me, I dunno. Sometimes, occasionaly, if you squint and tilt your head in a certain angle you can hear some good stuff, but most of it is garbage. No, this isnt my opinion, its fact.

I also want to re-iterate MOS DEF as my personal favorite.

Just for clarification Jel isn't an MC but a beat producer -- you can hear one of his tracks cut up in one of the Summer of Shred Windsor vids.

Lord Finesse. Another 93er, sooooo tight. I love that different voice he has, makes me think of q-tip a bit.

Also, Mic Geranimo. Now, he has a bunch of different things out, again, his older stuff is awesome. WOW. Flows like a bubbling brook in springtime.

I've never liked Lord Finnese's rapping too much. His production was top of the line though. The shit he did with DITC was crazy.

Big THANK YOU goes to James for buying me Mos Def - The New Danger for christmas!!! YAY!!!

Listened to it, I fucking LOVE it, though most people wont really appreciate it. Its got influences from all sorts of different music in it, so unless you are pretty open, you'll hate it,

I LOVE Black Star and Black on Both Sides, but I heard from a lot of people that New Danger just didn't live up to those in the slightest, and was just... bad, compared to his old stuff. So I never checked it out.

Hello Everybody!
I guess not many of you know any austrian hip-hop so here is a fine choice!
You should try to get some of that stuff!

Some underground stuff from austria:

--Wisdom and Slime
--Kayo&Phekt
--Herbe Mischung
--Die Antwort
--Aphrodelics
--brotlose kunst
--total chaos
--markante handlungen

Quite well known in austria so not really underground but definitly rockin:

--Texta
--waxolutionists

Others:

--Loki from scotland
--Doc Brown from U.K.
--Creaturen der Nacht from germany
--Main Concept germany
--Metabolics from N.Y.
--Hieroglyphics

Greetings and happy new year

Through the lights cameras and action, glamour glitters and gold
I unfold the scroll, plant seeds to stampede the globe
When I'm deceased, by then the beast arise like yeast
to conquer peace leaving savages to roam in the streets
Live on the run, police paying me to give in my gun
Trick my Wisdom, with the system that imprisoned my son
Smoke a gold leaf I hold heat, nonchalantly
I'm ranchy, but things I do is real, it never haunts me
while, funny style niggaz roll in the pile
Rooster heads profile on a bus to Riker's Isle
Holdin weed inside they pussy with they minds on the
pretty things in life, props is a true thug's wife
It's like a cycle, niggaz come home, some'll go in
Do a bullet, come back, do the same shit again
From the womb to the tomb, presume the unpredictable
Guns salute life, rapidly, that's the ritual

Nas > Your favorite underground rapper. Prove me wrong with a better verse.

For real! '94 era Nas threw away better verses than that (as did a lot of rappers back in that day).
