Topic: BAP - detrimental?

BAP really didn't start out with any intent to be what it has turned into. It was really just a small group of freestylers that shared an approach to freestyle that, at the time, was not really rewarded in tournament freestyle competition. It was simply a "band of brothers" that recognized each othe...

I don't know what gutless is but if it looks stylish and amazing it's o.k. with me. (provided of course that it doesn't involve any self-serving)

I think it's good to pass on a "the" for a number of reasons - 1. It gives you one more reason to actually pass besides a drop, which I think is good for energy and flow in a circle. 2. I treat it like a penalty for myself. If the trick was "the" then the penalty is that I have to pass it. Since I w...

Webster's dictionary defines self-serving as follows: "self-serving: serving one's own interests often in disregard of the truth or the interests of others." Now the truth is that there are very very few rules in the game of footbag but there is ONE that dates back to the dawn of the game and it is ...

I have to give BIG Props to Dan Klokow for setting an outstanding example last weekend at the Chilly Philly. I had the privelege to play with Dan for at least a couple of hours on Saturday night and not only did he not self-serve but he also did something that very few players do these days. He turn...

Chan, Thanks for posting some of those trick names. The Axle Foley was the one I was thinking of. That's a cool name for a trick. Wasn't it like a spinning cross body sole?

When California Games came out we were all saying "Jester? Where the hell did they get that from?" It had been Flying Clipper for many years already by then. There were some other good trick names on that game but I can't remember them right now.

I always try to pay the full entrance fee at whatever tournament I attend to try to support the people that put the thing on. I do this is even if I don't plan on competing. And even if I don't really have the money. 8O A Thanks Allan. Having been intimately involved in putting on a number of large...

I realize this thread hasn't had any posts in a long time but I felt the need to make a comment or two. First, the Add system was originally intended, at least in part, to be a way of objectively estimating the difficulty of individual freestyle tricks. Even from the outset I knew that there would b...

No self-respecting styler could call my WEAKside Pixie set anything but WEAK!! I think you have to at least be able to hit the trick before you can call it your Switch or Flip or whatever. Until then, it is the Weakside. Or how about Dark Side?

I would venture to say that Pete is the best 3 ball juggler while also juggling three footbags on the feet at the same time. I just about hurled when I saw this the first time.
