Re: Bags You've Made

Nice bag mate! I Haven't been here for a while either. Not much stitching action from me for a long time now. I have made a few again this year for friends, and a few for a challenge... https://ep1.pinkbike.org/p5pb14577987/p5pb14577987.jpg 122 panels. Have not seen anyone else make this design befo...

Re: Champions League Starbag

Haha.
Both bags have the same size hex's and same low gather!
You can't afford to gather much before the bag looks terrible.

If you went for smaller stars and larger hex's it wouldn't really work because you'd have to gather way too much.

Re: Bags You've Made

Some really nice bags in the last few pages. Don't think I've posted a new bag for about 6 months now! Have been slowly stitching away when I have nothing better to do. Experimental starbag. Slightly longer arms on the stars and bigger bleed holes than usual. http://imageshack.us/a/img821/8656/dshj....

Re: Champions League Starbag

Ultrasuede soft will likely be too thick for your starbag, and take a long while to break in properly.
Just use USL, 2 of your thinnest colours for best results!

Re: Champions League Starbag

Can't wait to see your attempt! I think most of the stitchers are still visiting the forums, just not posting. You'll see a few new pics from me this weekend! When I get home from work I'll upload a pic of a starbag I made with pointy stars earlier this year. It came out really quite wrinkly, but ki...

Nice work Ryan. Never seen a star pattern soccer ball before!! Here are some tips to making a starbag that I posted about 18 months ago: "Here's a rough mspaint drawing of the template http://img207.imageshack.us/img207/2887/unledle.png I printed out the pent template then carefully ruled the extra ...

Re: For those who single thread..

Not sure if you got the answer you were looking for. Anyway, the place to start your last thread is on the short side of a hex: http://imageshack.us/a/img200/3711/hexc.png Pierce the hex on the short edge from the furry side, then through the first stitch on the long side. So when you are finished f...

Re: Bags You've Made

Nice work Bear. The orange / black hybrid looks awesome. So this is my 100th post, and I have been saving it up for something memorable. This bag was inspired by Ivan (Isirc10) after his 72hour stitching bender where he made his 3 92's shown on the last page. The design took a lot of thinking about,...

Re: Pre Cut panels, sold in bulk. Possible?

Lazy!! Cutting panels isn't that bad. I don't believe that anyone sells pre-cut panels, but a few people have played around with laser cut panels, which is a really good idea. These are pics that Nathan uploaded of his laser cuts. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v717/nathanp/DSCN0703.jpg http://im...

3 92's in 3 days!! You must be stitching 12hours a day!
Really nice work Ivan. They all look great. I like that you used so many colours too.
The yellow white and blue looks awesome. Sweet pattern. I've been thinking of a cool pattern for a new 92, and you've inspired me to get it done.

Nah, I lost count at about 20, and always stitch at home.
Sorry, but I can't imagine the stories being that interesting.

Re: PelletsLLC.com

0.9mm pellets or balls should make a really nice filler, though there are a few dangers when choosing really small filler... I use this shot that's about 0.5mm diameter, and I had to make changes to the way I made my bags so they did not leak the filler!! I Mainly had to reduce the size of my bleed ...

Re: Footbag Pouch

Cool idea. Some others have a pouch for their bags as well, just helps protect them from damage and dirt while you're not kicking. Maybe would have been an idea to make it bigger.. So you can fit several bags in there. Once you start stitching, you'll soon find yourself with many more bags that just...

A little something special. http://img825.imageshack.us/img825/5623/rszimag00011.jpg It's not oddly shaped, just looks it in the pic... Both med/thick colours. Made to last!
