Re: Canberra, Australia via SCL - Daniel Boyle

Hi Daniel! That “when we’re 40” thread is interesting. The only player I could see that posted in it that is still playing strong would be Dustin. I don’t think he will be 40 for a while but I am fairly certain he will still be shredding at 40. Most of the freestylers at the jam I just attended are ...

Hey Erik!

I noticed you’ve posted some videos on YouTube lately. Great to see you are able to play a bit again. I hope to see you at worlds!

Re: Cass shreds - Spring Training 2024

Thank you Erik! I have settled into my new management position and it has become less stressful for the most part which is great. I am enjoying having more control over how the company is run, finding new efficiencies and so on. Exciting that worlds is in fact in Montreal this year. Hope to see ever...

Re: Cass shreds - USO 2023

Thanks for the replies everyone. I miss you all! Yes, I meant because of the pandemic haha! I went to a small local art/music festival yesterday and kicked with Zach. That was a lot of fun. 8 of us are staying at an Airbnb by the lake next weekend. Four of us in the group are footbaggers since a cou...

The hack tournament sounds like it was fun. I am surprised that there were so many teams there to compete.

Re: Cass shreds - USO 2023

I read it! Great to see you again, Cass. Hopefully our paths cross again soon. P.S. HUGE fan of the down dog app, but had kind of forgotten about it recently. Thanks for reminding me. It was so great to see you too, Mike! Thanks for reading. Down dog really is the best and they seem to be constantl...

Re: Cass shreds - USO 2023 update

It’s been a while since I updated this thing. I still play footbag, usually 1-3 times per week. Footbag events have been few and far between these last few years, for obvious reasons. USO 2019 is Massachusetts was the last big event before the panini. Derek got injured and couldn’t make it so I trav...

Re: Toolman

Sweet! Another cool thing about down dog is they will give you a free subscription if you can’t afford it. You also get the meditation and HIIT apps by the same developer with your subscription. As for mats, I am partial to Jade mats, which are similarly pricey. I find them to be grippy and decently...

Re: Toolman

Hey Mike! I noticed you mentioned yoga in a previous blog entry. If you are still looking for some motivation, there is a great app I use multiple times a day for practice called “Down dog”. It has lots of settings and options so it doesn’t get too repetitive and you can select the level of difficul...

Glad you were able to make it to NYJ despite the flight hiccup! It’s always a blast. Detroit know how to get down. I hope they pull off worlds one of these years!!

Hi Ken! I like you a lot and I'm sorry that you didn't get the result you were hoping for in competition. Routines are so difficult. 5th place is really good still.. I really enjoyed watching your semi final routine. The choreography was awesome. Have you considered changing the direction of your pr...

Re: Muffinman

Yeah it happened at some point Saturday I guess? So some people left already but a lot were still around. I just remember reading Nicks Facebook post about it and hanging out with a lot of these guys who had no idea a BAP meeting even went down. Apparently they aren't even cool enough for BAP now :P

Re: Muffinman

Hi Erik! Some interesting discussion here. I have a few points I would like to make. I already touched on why I think women’s competition at worlds is important in my own blog, so I won’t get into that other than to say representation is important even if it’s not at the same level as the guys. I do...

Re: Feminine Freestyle --- Worlds 2017 Portland

Thanks Daniel! Yes, Olav is an intense shredder! Huge shit galore. Thanks Asmus! Would have been cooler if you had been there. Next year is unlikely; the trend seems to be every second year. So, hopefully see you in 2019. Thanks Rory! It was cool seeing you at worlds. I appreciated your comments abo...
