Re: Canberra, Australia via SCL - Daniel Boyle
I think I'm finally recovered from that sprained ankle. It took a fair while longer than I was hoping. We just did a big driving trip up to Brisbane during this school holidays so I got in a kick with Caroline. I still haven't booked my ticket for going to Worlds but I'll get it soon. I don't think ...

Re: Canberra, Australia via SCL - Daniel Boyle
It's been a while since I last posted. More than a month, which is too long. What have I been up to? Unfortunately a few weeks back I sprained my ankle playing indoor soccer. I just played again today and was able to run along at a reasonable level. A friend of mine had to interview somebody for a u...

Re: Kankeri Japan
Good news on the knee TJ. I'm looking for to going to Japan - I think a little guide like that would be excellent. Just looking at booking my tickets in the coming days but the flights are probably not as well priced as I was hoping.

Re: Canberra, Australia via SCL - Daniel Boyle
I've been getting into a bit of proper-ish training (not really, but some). Today I put some focus on the Shred 30 and the big verdict is - a lot more work needed. I've got a bit of a planned shred 30 which I used around the Covid competition times. Which basically connects a few straightforward dri...

Re: Canberra, Australia via SCL - Daniel Boyle
We're into 2026 so I will renew some posting with vigour and hopefully post more than 3 things across the year. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7O0-olSWaZo Here is my Joulu video. I think that's 10 years in a row of submitting a video, maybe even more. I was glad not to run it this year, I really di...

Re: Canberra, Australia via SCL - Daniel Boyle
We have been back from Europe a while. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Yw8hreEvzs I put together a few runs from along the way. We had a pretty good time. In terms of footbag I kicked with Marco in Stuttgart and also met up with Tina in Zurich. She had an injury and it was pouring rain but we had a...

Re: Canberra, Australia via SCL - Daniel Boyle
I will just post a few words in here right now and maybe something further down the line. I'm in Europe. Unfortunately I just missed Worlds by a few weeks. I just kicked with Franck Remy today. I just posted a very short clip on Facebook, I might put something more elsewhere in the future. I will ki...

Re: Kankeri Japan
Did you happen to go to Japanese championships? I believe they were on this weekend.
I would really love to see Worlds in Japan (it being more accessible to me is a good reason but probably like #20 on my list of ideas of why it would be good.

It this is not the perfect advertisement for Worlds to be in Japan, then I don't know what is! Some great tricks along the way here and the Babymetal soundtrack is very fitting.

Re: Kankeri Japan
This looks like a great lot of work. I just downloaded and having a play around with it. I think it will be pretty useful. Congratulations on putting it out - huge effort.
Re: Mathieu
It looked to be a good time over there - like Jorden said, good payoff for long time efforts. Good to see 40+ age bracket is not slowing anybody down! That bus trip looked like a lot of fun. I hope Worlds is in Japan next year. If not, I hope to go at all. You did a great job playing and organising ...

Re: Canberra, Australia via SCL - Daniel Boyle
It's been some months since my last post. I feel really demotivated when it comes to various computer-ish things lately. Like I don't even update my social media very much anymore (doesn't stop me from looking at it endlessly). Let's talk some footbag. This time of year I always get a lot of cool me...

Re: Canberra, Australia via SCL - Daniel Boyle
I fractured my wrist about two weeks ago. I've done pretty well over the course of my life to avoid major injuries. But that's got me in a cast for some time...not really sure how long yet, but everyone tells me this area (scaphoid) takes a long time to heal. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=khlb2929...

It's been a time. A very long time. I've been playing a decent amount. There has been the Passback Footbags Sick 3 comp, I put something in for that. https://www.instagram.com/p/DHb3lLYza_C/ https://www.instagram.com/p/DHb3UapT8lh/ My main entry was darkwalk (pixie diving butterfly)>spinning ducking...

Re: Canberra, Australia via SCL - Daniel Boyle
School holidays are coming to a close. I've just done a fairly large roadtrip with my sister and our kids between us (5 in total). Have been back home for a couple of days. I've been getting in some decent kicking time in these last couple of days. https://twitter.com/capitaleyes/status/184414020578...

Re: Canberra, Australia via SCL - Daniel Boyle
I got up early and did some footbag in the gym today. I was going for that 20 x 20 - 20 rounds of 20+ contact strings. My personal rules on this are that each trick can just be done twice in a row, although I'm fairly lenient - eg butterfly and ss butterfly are unique tricks for this. I end up doing...
