Re: Muffinman

It was nice getting to shred with you, Erik! I didn't realize you were in pain, or else I wouldn't have been harping on you to play more!

I have a set of really good neck stretches that I do semi-regularly. If you're interested I could try to describe them, or find YouTube equivalents... \

Re: Butler

Haha. Nothing like making a post and then completely abandoning the forum. Thanks, guys! Yeah, I did get Leviathan. It's not too difficult for me, which is pleasantly surprising. Erik, just try not to set it too high. I don't think it should be hard for you since you are exceptionally good at Barfly...

Re: Butler

I always assumed that putting a duck before a double down was wayyy out of my league. I've seen some vids of other players doing them recently, so I decided to give it a go. Hit Ducking Barfly fairly easily. Then footed Leviathan on the 3rd attempt 8). Good feeling, especially because my stepping du...

Re: 44 days and counting

 If I were to copy the skateboarding series, I'd have to hit some elite level stuff..and given my age and how out of practice I am, I could totally see me dedicating a session to this project and not being able to hit what I'd need for the video. That'd be pretty depressing. I know the feeli...

Re: Butler

Thank you! That was so relieving. I couldn't tell you how many times I had a perfect set and perfect dexes on that second Fury, only to have the bag bounce right off my toe.

Re: Butler

Stole an idea from Erik's blog and hit Swivel bsos today. Of course it was something like (flip) Swivel > Osis > Butterfly > Swivel (finished with a super lengthy and depthy run). I've just recently started working on my flip Swivel, so it felt pretty good. b2b soon to come. Halfway through my sessi...

Re: Butler

It's fun to hear about the combos and challenges you're hitting. I feel like we're kind of close to the same level. Was the torque drill toe far torque > gyro DLO repeat? I got confused by the "Clip near" because that doesn't switch sides. Also, agreed that zooming out of torque is so hard! Haha! I...

Re: Butler

Had the opportunity to kick with Ian Brill today. It was his first 'real' session in years after recovering from a back injury. He did have a good 20ish contact run of BOP that ended with 4 consecutive far muted osis. He also hit like 5 consecutive Eclipses out of nowhere. Good stuff I love the chal...

Re: Canberra, Australia via SCL - Daniel Boyle

Speaking of those heavy bands - thoughts on Power Trip? They're playing here next month. I've only listened to their most recent album a few times but it sounds pretty good. They seem to have a lot of hype about them, so I'm surprised they will play in Canberra. I've 'overheard' them a few times. B...

Re: Butler

I never even thought to bring my camera the last couple sessions! Sorry! Today, I did get the Blurry Whirl > Spinning Whirl > Pdx Blender on my flipside, which I am totally surprised it only took me a few tries because my flip Pdx Blender sucks balls lol. Also hit Blurry Whirl > Spinning Whirl > Pdx...

Re: Butler

Been trying to hit some sort of new fearless combo every session. Today was Blurry Whirl > Spinning Whirl > Paradox Blender. Was limited on time and ran out of daylight before I had a chance to attempt flipside, but I don't think it should be too hard. I've still been drilling spinning out of Whirls...

Re: Butler

Actually, it was pretty easy lol. I footed it very first try, and then I hit it about 20 attempts later.
Also got Blurry Whirl > Spinning Ducking Butter rpt on film.

Climas are very easy to get. They are brand new on Ebay for about 50USD.

Re: Butler

Been drilling spinning out of whirls. It's something I've never practiced before. Got this on film: https://www.instagram.com/p/BmopKXUHp8f/?utm_source=ig_share_sheet&igshid=z61qmy9081q8 Also hit Blurry Whirl > Mobius bsos before I turned on the camera. Pretty good session. Also Climas > Quantums.

Re: Canberra, Australia via SCL - Daniel Boyle

Hmm, I quite like all those bands, though I'm not particularly into Killswitch's recent albums. Haven't put much listening into them though. I love Evergreen Terrace, they are one of my all time favourite bands, though (well from what I've seen here in Australia) they don't seem to have the pulling...

Got it.. just like I figured I would. I actually hit this two more times, but this was the only time I didn't drop on the Osis to seal it.
