Re: Syria

Hot topic. If Assad was dumb enough to invite the US and friends to strike Syria by using chemical weapons while UN inspectors were in Syria, I don't see him being deterred by the US limited response. When asked if Assad could strike back if attacked, Obama said he could but it wouldn't be smart. If...

Re: Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman

GZ didn't break any laws and while I think that what he did was wrong and completely avoidable, I wouldn't advocate anyone being punished outside the law. I do think that the issue has been blown out of proportion by the media in an attempt to keep us bickering among ourselves instead of holding our...

Re: Footbag = alternative sport

I have to disagree, we haven't tried everything for routines. With routines being the event that is supposed to showcase the sport to the general public the scoring needs to be adjusted to cater to the publics eyes. What I want to see is routines with required elements that you have to submit to the...

Re: Berlin Sessions

I haven't had the time or internet access to watch many footbag vids lately but I just got my internet hooked up and OMG! I watched all the Berlin sessions in a row and had a great time doing so. A couple I had seen previously but most were new to me. I think 4, 7 and 11 were my favorites but all of...

Sweet vid Taylor. I really like the slow-mo shot with the leaves blowing in the wind. Props on making a good vid, can't wait for the rest.

Re: How often do you play?

Ideally I like to play 3-4 times a week but for the last month or so I've only played once a week on average. Felt like I needed to take it easy for a bit. Sometime in November I plan to kick it back into gear but for now I just voted once a week.

Re: Ianek tribute video

Really enjoyed the whole vid. My favorite was probably the combo starting at 1:30. I think the Christmas calendar this year should have a creativity theme to it. I'd like to see everyone's take on creativity. Nice job, kept me entertained.

Re: Dan Reed

So the US Open was amazing, one of the funnest events I've been to. I don't want to go into it too much because there is just so much to say. First off I would like to thank everyone involved for making this such an enjoyable event. I'd also like to say that everyone I met/saw was absolutely awesome...

Symposium gets an add but symple doesn't. The term "symple" is just used to describe a certain style of preforming a trick.

Re: Dan Reed

So my groin area is still tender. I decided to take it easy and just did an hour of routine practice. I feel I'll do better if my legs are closer to 100% than I would if I spent an extra couple hours practicing and still felt uneasy about my legs come Saturday. I worked on the parts that were giving...

Re: Dan Reed

I skipped Monday, my groin/hammy was completely spent from the weekend. Didn't even feel up to the dinky routine stuff I was planning on doing for the day. Tuesday was a little better but my left leg was still really sore in the groin area. We had a late session and I decided to go play despite my a...

Re: Dan Reed

Ok, time to get up to date. Sunday last week was pretty awesome, although I had an off session. We played at gasworks park and had guests from out of town come out. Taylor(last name???) from New York has been going to school here in Washington for the summer and we just found out. She hadn't played ...

Re: An Overall Champion

I'd like to see something like this, Routines-50% Circle-30% Request-20% Abolish sick 1, sick 3 and shred 30 as individual events but add them as required elements in routines. You would have to submit what you will do in your routine for a sick1, sick3, and shred 30 so the judges would know what's ...

Re: Dan Reed

Today's solo sesh was just under two hours. I wanted to start drilling my pdx tricks so I did. Of course I started with warm up kicks then insides then clips and so on. I didn't try to break any of my consecutive records but during my warm up I hit 48 osis. Then I worked on in order pdx mixer, pdx d...
