thanks mat, that was an uplifting post! hope we can shred again soon.

ty for duck props...time to re-dedicate myself to dextrousness. dante is good motivation for that, throwing down rubberman on command & barflies all over the place.

sorry for the incoming block. a few thoughts on potential. a) the sport needs money. we all know this has been a problem for a long time. it's a catch-22, because the sponsors won't endorse something that isn't popular, but you need incentives to make people take competition seriously on a wide scal...

the flipside to that coin is that 100% of the profits are going to footbag players. that's another reason i like to buy quantums instead of lavers. if someone was to do a full fledged DVD release, the production costs are much higher. a portion of the cost of the product would be going to the DVD ma...

2 nights ago: very poor session. i did everything right in preparing for the session, i just wasn't feeling it. it was still fun to kick with dante & derrick. an interim session. more work on flip whirl & torques. last night: great, great session. played with derrick. more flip whirl work. torques a...

last night i played with derrick. everybody in kingston is growing stronger right now, it's a very invigorating scene. i finished the session by footing a weaving torque, that would have landed clean ( the bag was square on the clipper ) if i didn't step in a puddle of sweat & fly right off my feet....

update on friday's session: was awesome to get home from work & have a message waiting from Derrick, wanting to have a session. we played for almost 2.5 hours on friday night. my weight fluctuates like crazy. i think it is due to the amount of coffee i drink with sugar during work days, & probably t...

so pumped for shred! looks like it'll be a solo sesh this eve. i just did 30 minutes of lymphasizing. i notice a difference from before taking Asea--positioning was far more stable. i should try slacklining again! endurance & mental acuity are the two most noticeable benefits thus far. the recovery ...

took the day off shred yesterday. i felt strong enough to play, but wanted to give an extra day to get as close back to 100% as i can. took 2 oz of Asea for maintenance / repair. hopefully i can wrangle up another kingstonian tonight for drilling. i'm pretty excited about my game right now, i think ...

interesting session. too early to say anything definitive. session inspired by tuomas riisalo ( sp? ) movements made more sense yesterday, in general. noticed more acute awareness during strings & a stronger dedication to attacking a concept for a prolonged period of time. tightness in shoulders was...

sept 28 blog vid: the first clip is just some gyro clippers, but i think i figured something out tonight that will help them get better, which is to keep my arms at my side, inside the path of the footbag. i didn't like my form in this vi...

kickass was killer. it was a phenomenal experience for me, as i hope it was for others in attendance. throwing this event in the first place required personal growth on my part. i am an excessively shy person, & that might also be an understatement. social awkwardness has always come naturally to me...
