Nah, not gonna happen Cory. The dexes just don't play nice (especially considering how rarely rev. twirl is executed cleanly in the first place). It would almost be more feasible to do a Miraging Twin-symple Down Swirl Spindle....which is obviously still very much in the range of ludicrous.
Have you ever seen Miraging symp down swirl? Go watch someone hit that first, and then tell me they could bail it to osis.
As for the rest of you, stop naming "new" compound tricks.

Team Japan will be at Worlds this year. Why don't you propose it to them, and see how funny they think it is?

I have been doing Far Simple Reverse Swirl a bunch lately and it's been getting old saying it. Scott Behmer and I came up with the acronym FSRS it's pronounced Fe(r)Serous or For Serious. Same Side Simple Swirl (SSRS) S(a)Serous or So Serious. It's been a lot of fun. He yells at me to do a trick and I say, "For Serious?" We've gotten a lot of mileage and laughs out of it. Just thought I would share.

Really not a fan of naming tricks after diseases. Especially diseases that footbaggers have had, or currently have. I still remember visiting one of the Japanese footbaggers in the hospital, who was quarantined with tuberculosis. Just not a good look.

Do we have a definitive list of footbag tricks? I know that
1. the beginning of this thread has quite a few tricks that footbag.org doesn't have,
2. footbag.org has quite a few 1-add and 2-add tricks that the beginning of this thread doesn't have.
What lists are people using?

I don't think there is a definite list. A lot of variation geographically as well. Ianek attempted to make a definitive list, but it didn't really catch on.

I see. What do you mean variation geographically? I think there are three major classifications:
1. common name
2. technical name
3. descriptive name
So, for example smear would be
1. smear
2. pixie mirage
3. ??? (not sure of the descriptive system name)
Is that what you mean by variation, or boob-o-meter?

I think he's referring to some tricks that are called different things in different parts of the world. An example would be atomic gyro mirage, which North Americans generally call "Johnny Quest" but Aussies call "neutron smasher."

Ah yes, I see. Thanks for the clarification, Ken. It would be interesting to document these footbag "dialects" around the world. I wonder how many variations exist?
