i added 3 bright colors of soft to my last order, ill be sure to report on what i think of it. if its really thick i plan to fabric soften the fabric, possibly prior to stitching?

here is a nice bag i made last night, think im gonna keep this one.

the spikes are all light colors, yellow on one side, green on the other an blue around the middle. very happy with the pattern an how it turned out. broke in amazingly.

2 pent-centered 'sandwich' bags

#17 raspberry sherbet, my most consistent bag yet but a tad big for my taste

#18 key lime, will be a dream when it breaks in

Nice one, Zach. I just made a new 32 panel like the ones almost everybody else around here makes as opposed to the regular soccer ball hexes. I didn't get a chance to take a picture yet though.

my first non-soccer template 32 panel bag, along with a golf ball, a mr. sandbag, and a 12 panel I just made(that fucker's like the size of a marble). I think I might just make the 12 panel into a keychain.

That 32 looks awesome! And that cute little 12, is also awesome. It looks the same as my flying clipper prototype bag.

That's passion suede? I might have to try it out.

OH, and the mr. sandbag is funny looking, ketchup and mustard.

Go ahead and give it a try if you want to, just note that it's pretty damn stiff. Zach and Nick said it's probably a little too stiff to use for footbags, but I think as long as you take some fabric softener to it and/or kick it around for a while, it'll play nicely. It's stallable already but rolls a little more than most of my bags. But I've also never seen a freshly made bag of ultrasuede. Zach uses fabric softener on his, so I don't know how the two would compare. I just love the colors of the passion suede, and it works well enough for me. Plus it's not $30 a yard. Here's another picture of the 32, along with the Wavy Chain bag my girlfriend just got me from WFA.

As far as the mr. sandbag is concerned, I agree it's funny looking, but it's kind funny that I got those two colors when I didn't even order a mr. sandbag in the first place, and I try to use a lot of yellow and red(and black). Also, I don't really like the way it's shaped. It's more boxy than it is round, but it doesn't really matter cuz it stalls so easily it's not even funny.

When I was starting, I noticed how the mr. sandbag was so boxy, so I folded up an origami paper cube, filled it (All of the way), and then wrapped the whole thing in duct tape. I thought that I was making a really good footbag, but it was really shitty and hurt really bad to kick.
I remember thinking, "Okay, I'm going back to the softness of the mr."

thanks guys :) i think im gonna stitch up a good number an do a 2 for $30 deal to get my bags out there an some feed back.

OH, the fabric fairy stopped by today...

the ultra soft is indeed very thick. i think if i use it in a hybrid as the pents an some very supple ultralight for the hexs it might make a good usable bag.

ya the snake print is really really supple thin fabric.... very very nice. i look forward to using it.

My friend scott once had his hands on a super mini, all one type of animal print bag (I think it was snake skin). IT WAS AWESOME.
