Equipment to prevent shin splints -- athletic insoles?

Post by christisgodlike » 30 Dec 2014 00:10

I haven't found any information on insoles in here (41 pages is alot). What are some athletic insole brands that you use and why? What are attributes to look for when buying them?

I would also really like feedback on this topic.

I have Spencos in right now. But I have used Sofsole in the past and they were good. Only thing about Spencos is you might have to trim the instep edge a tiny bit so it won't mess with your clippers. An easy nod though. They both feel as if you're walking on kitten fur and jello

Nick: Is there a specific model of each that you would recommend?

Any model will do. Just get some "athletic" insole
