Great highlights, dude. I can finally comment on this now that I have internet at home.

Can't wait for you to come down to the boonies of PA and visit. It's weird here. People here think "Wu-Tang Clan" is a Chinese dessert.

Hope your life gets more uppy. Hope your new home life is cool at least. I always liked Allan. Never met Kyle Frusteri, but he's got a cool last name.

I'll text you when I get my god damn phone stuff figured out.

Peace dude.

actually been getting back into shape finally :) last night was the first "oh this is why i do this" footbag session in quite some time. style felt free, threw done lots of good links and generally flowy feeling shit. i might stick with this footbag thing, it certainly has potential.

- vortex>dlo>dimwalk>ripwalk rpt
https://www.instagram.com/p/BA_RLOxjZYf ... otley_st3w

-scorps>whirling swirl

-dod>dlo rpt...i suck at life.

-run with dyno>ps whirl bsos with both spinning ducking osis and lots of other stuffzzzzzz

-run starting with fog>tripwalk>ps whirl>spinning whirl, only one bop in the seal i think?

-paradox torque>superfly bomb ass dank ass.

First time in awhile i felt improvement. i see you 2016, lets get it kids.

here's a sweet chuck berry song that's in one of my favorite 70's films.

Crap, You never told me about Pdx Torque> Superfly. That's feckin' heavy, bru. I'm Nethen Pip'nberg, frem New Zeyland. I'm wicked ged at Drefters.

Your Vortex drill/run was just epic, dude. Can't wait to shred it with you in person again.

oh footblog.

probably hit a good amount of decent stuff since last time i posted but as usual i can never remember. still very much in the game and improving-ish. pete came by yesterday morning and we shredded da fuq out of witch city proper. Bowler’s game is starting to reach pre broken leg levels of bowerism, I posted a phatty surreal rake on instant grams.

https://www.instagram.com/p/BCWG-ZXDZUl ... olden_path

i feel that i played pretty well although one of my lavers is pretty much dead and i fixed it up with duct tape that naturally fell off once dexes started heating up which then held me back significantly, godammit.

also, theres going to be a jam in salem mass next spring. that’s all for now but i promise moves are being made. clear your calendars, fix up your lavers and your clear your nostrils folks, this is going to be the most ambitionious jam mass has ever seen. promise.

gonna be visiting bob over the summer, USO= about 99% for me. stoked.

quick run down of hoagey laver skrapz:

-Phoenix>vortex>whirling swirl has been a fun combo from me lately, trying to do this every session.

-flurry>pixie ducking gyro toe a few times. this is gangsta shit.https://www.instagram.com/p/BCWHc7GDZV2 ... olden_path

-huge run starting with bed>pigbeater, which is new pathetically

-run with both mobius and both pdx torques all midstring as well as a flip vortex.

-hit sureal using flip surge/strong whirl for the first time which i am realizing now is actually brand new on that side. bowler legit screamed lol. couldn’t be a hero and tack on that rake though hahaha.

-foe>same clipper kick reepeet. young money!

-really dense far non symp rev swirl bsos to close ze sess

felt solid overall. i haven’t gotten a sesh during the work week yet, hopefully i can wake up tomorrow am to school some vortexes-es.

some more bruebeck for your bad selves. i’ve been told this one originates from the rhythm of a turkish song our man dave heard children singing whist spending some time there, one of my favs.

Yes! Far Non-Symp Rev Swirls are the best. From Toe or Clipper (Pdx)? Either way, both are absolutely the shit. If I had a footbag right now, that's the trick I would be doing. God damn, that trick or any Muted Reverse Swirl is so fucking fun.

Did you end up drilling Vortexes? I think repetitively Vortex> Blur bs for a handful of sessions is the way I got good at them.

woops forget to be specific....that would be toe far rev swirl, that trick would be sweet from clipper too (kinda like how you do it ;) ) also you told me in like september to do vortex>blur x10 both sides so i did it like 5 sessions straight hahaha. i've been focusing on different links with vortex (lots of whirling swirl, dlos and gyros from v tex though) so less of the blurs, but that definitely was essential in making vortex a staple trick for me.

Workin' on a new video. I lost lost my iphone walking home in a snowstorm last month which had a fair bit footage from the last year and a half that is now either lost forever or only on instagram. i'm never really stoked to share my stuff but i have a fair bit from when i was at my peak (so far) at the end of last summer that never made it into my GTG part and lots of solid random shit from drilling sessions that's probably more valuable materialized then sitting on my hardive...i have a fair bit put together but the only catch is I have to hit a beast first so we'll see when it ever drops :)

my laver is ripped pretty bad now, ducked tape up my shoes completely the last few times i played lol. i know i have some size 10's kicking around somewhere so i'll probably switch to those before i cop a new pair later this week.

been schooling atomic legover>quantum legover>plo rpt a whole bunch and over dexed ewalk>flaming tard. working on pdx torque>ducking mirage bsos a little bit because i watched a video where tuuka made it look just oh so sexy....then kept inventing ways to fuck up far butterfly on the last contact of pdx torque>ducking pdx mirage>dimwalk>ripwalk rpt, probably partially due to my shoe. g'dammit.

also hit maelstrom and mullet to long strings in running shoes and skinny jeans lol. i'd like to try to play tomorrow but we shall see.

also thinking about driving to penn state jam to save time/$$$$

the bob green, of all people turned me on to this wax, the album "continue" in particular. i enjoy and somehow find some slight inspiration in the sort of twisted, fucked up scrub life rhetoric that wax paints a picture of over 18 tracks from such heart warming subjects as your ex girlfriend having consistent relations with multiple partners simultaneously to spending your last few coveted bucks for rent on booze. my draw to this track is given that the majority of the album is centered around these grim topics, i dig the somewhat humble realization that of "fuck man, i love what i do, it feels awesome and overall i'm awesome" vibe it exudes. or maybe i'm way the fuck off, who knows.

da number of the beast.

Told you that Blur from Vortex link goes a long way. Great to see you throwing it like it should be thrown. Vortex> Reverse Swirl> Gyro Clipper link and then repeat should be easy for you soon, too.

Stoked on a new Hogan video. There's no way you can't hit a Beast now.

Maybe drill Zooming for a little while and work towards something like Mullet/Gig> Food> Maelstrom or Gig> Spender> Mullet (same leg does all strong dexing). You can hit a Beast, but mush all of your stronger points into one. Also, film your flip Food attempts and send it to me. You're totally capable of hitting it. I'll help you figure it out if you want.

footbloggin'.

i'm feeling it. 2/12 week workout/running/yoga/footbag streak. got really sick of sucking at life and drinking too much, i will squander my time no longer. my headstands are feeling pretty prime. also hitting montage alot...which feels weird.

shredded twice with pete this week, one sesh including bobby g. and big ben, i am so proud at how well this boston crew played the other night...so many high fives and flow. pete deserves all the props in the world for the stuff he's been hitting lately, especially the toe grab hopover stuff. kid could barely get up to grab a beer a year and a half ago and he busts harder then most pent up male pornstars. is the world ready for this rendition of the boston shred crew? i dont know.

lately:
 lots of good strings, especially good as my shoes are still two different sizes and styles. i wonder what my level actually is at this moment because two different sizes certainly sucks balls.

 fairy spinning osis>paradox blender. love. love. love.

-symp quantum legover>blind osis. dank.

-gyro whirling swirls all over da place

-blurriest rake, not sure if new, bob inspired.

can't really think of much else, getting into some serious flow lately. really really grateful for everything goin' down at the moment. i don't even know how to perceive all of the amazing stuff that has/looks like it will happen. i'm no longer apprehensive about my design skills but the level of clintele i am faced with at the moment...is just...staggering. i don't deserve any of this but fuck man i am going for it.

good vibrations like i'm brian wilson...or marky mark...definitely moreso in the brian wilson way on second thought.

EDIT: FUCK! two of the same artist back to back    don't dab and post kids 8)

"you're dead" was so good, alan and i have been raging the vinyl edition alot lately. i think kendrick is a tad overrated but still pretty damn incredible, definitely slaughtered this un'.

getting a pipebomb to post is a compliment in itself. can't wait to do god's work in your mom's bathroom.

bobby gee was here last weekend, two wonderful sessions in a row as well as a solo sunday sesh from me. also of note, our red haired man-hero brought me some sexyyyy ass lavers, of equal size and mirrored playability. I can actually start training again to begin pushing back to a desirable level by USO, bob you are so so awesome, eternally grateful hoag i am. I'm going to try to put together a quick vid of my first session in these luscious laves.

oh yeah, saw matt k. the other day too. he's cool and stuff.

lifewise just did some design for one of the biggest sandwich franchises on the east coast, got my steez into 60ish locations. never good form to name names but taking over we are my friends. winter depression and benders may kick my ass sometimes but will never give up on things.

girl i've been sorta seeingish may be as nuts as i am if not more, which naturally is completely fine/preferred. if i have type, it's certainly goofy chicks with bad tattoos who like whiskey and make me late for work. not too mad at that, i've had worse realizations.

-gyro dlo>open ducking whirl>long run

-far revup>smear>shuffle out and things. first uptime from that trick.

-started a few runs with fairy same dlo>phoniex>stepping whirl>whirling swirl type stuff. feels gravy train.

-pdx whirl>rev swirl>barrage bsos. like this alot.

-gyro barrage>symp whirl, inspired from where the ripwalk endzzz.

only told 1 or 2 people but was totally planning on bailing on PSU due to the massive amount of loot i'm going to have to be putting into my car ontop of saving for vacation but ben little happens to be a mythikal beast of persuassion so i'll see y'all friday. :-)

penn state usually comes at a time when i'm dealing with some shitty life change thing so this time it feels nice that i can shred without a sense of fighting against background shit in my head and hopefully just organically bring da flow. there are many of you i am straight up fucking too giddy to live to see.

hi nick.

also been digging these guys alot lately. not much of a country guy but DMT fuckin' shreds it, give em a peep!

Devil Makes Three is legit. Do wrong right is hands down my favorite track of theirs. I'm not a fan of country, but bluegrass and shit like this is dope.
Edit: D.M.T. (ha just noticed those initials) is actually on tour with Trampled By Turtles right now, another of my top bluegrass picks. Here is a couple of their tracks you may dig.

bird up Ivan, it was great hanging with you man! you + ryan + khoa= amazing shred vibes. thanks for inspiring me to hit some stuff i don’t really do anymore :)

hahaha oh yes, subtle texts of deemsters are always accepted in my blog. I’ve heard both those TBT trax, thanks for posting. Devil makes three is super sick. i like that their albums last longer then 20 minutes and don’t have underlying dragon and extraterrestrial themes ;) . that “ vintage feeling-drinking whiskey off a fat chicks jail tattooed covered titties in some middle american saloon themed bar with disturbed playing in the background while all of your white nostrilled ugly ass friends rage shitty bourbon and play deer hunter vibe.” just so sick and so well done.

been juggling a good amount. schooling claw catches (claw 1-2-3-4, whatever thats called, is my fav pattern for sure) also fuck load and basic column tricks. so much fun. starting to have days where i suck more then the day before and versa vice. progress is funny. hoping to learn mills mess and wind mills soon, that should round out my basic trick base i think.

Lots of footbag the last few weeks although i’ve yet to dawn the lavers and fuck up my knees this particular one but the rumour is phildo and I will be shredding at the skate park once i’m off work. feelin’ shreddy as fuck and ready to do some revups and shit. some yoguylights from the past few weeks, including an epic session with pete and ben:

-run starting with ps whirl>ps whirl> with blurry whirl>blurry whirl>tomahawk ending on whirlwind>hand>shit pants.

-dexes on double blender!!!!! confirmed clean by pedro

rev whirlwinds on both sides, rev montage on one side a few times.

toe far revup>porque/smoke bunches

-run starting with haze>pixie ducking clipper>ps rev whirl>spinning whirl>forget how to osis

fairy zig zag and first flipside zig zags

gyro pickup>toe ss rev swirl bsos. polinierman.

lots of fairy non symp swirls on bs. best trick ever, one side to whirling swirl.

-super good looks on pdx drifter>vortex>drifter drill. you will be mine soon.

oh, also going to california the week before USO to hang with bob. my eyesight feels blurry with excitement even contemplating what is to come.

Lon smith sent me a unsolicited FB message saying he’s excited to meet me. my brain is too burned out to process shit like that.

I feel alot more positive about going to USO then i did last year. I need to get my ass in gear and start working hard on my routine (this is so fucking hard, no wonder why it is a major gap between players like me and the best of ze best) and continue playing the way i have been and i think i’ll be in decent shape. not running away from anyone or anything or looking to escape, just looking to peep some cool sights, kick some hacky and take it all in with some killer amigos. the excitement is raw, got a stressful few weeks ahead though so gotta keep the focus and not get too giddy.

if you're not shredding to soohan you're doing it all wrong. You haven't lived until Ben Little commands you shake the dreads you don't have.

i ain't got none but i plan on growin' some.

off to shred. lets git it!

boatz crashed with me for memorial day & NYFA jam was last weekend. Bowler and i rolled into NYC at around 12:30 am eastern standard time because we’re gnarly like that. shredded sunday, not too great but such a solid crew. back to back weekends with nyfa is the shit i do like.

I’ve played everyday since sunday with boise on my mind. considering scratching from routines because even my normal stuff has just felt so mediocre lately. Yesterday may have been the worst session i’ve had all year, but i played with a fire present that I haven’t had in a long time, probably since before my injuries. frustration sort of consumed me for a bit but i grinded out my drills and form felt better then usual. hit the gym afterwards and i am sore as fuck but looking forward to shred and yoga it up after work…hopefully my clippers remember how to set tricks today.

i want to hit a beast starting with fairy spinning ducking osis>food, maybe doable soon.

the next few weeks are gonna be raw.

juggling highlights:

-far revup>smog a whole bunch, new favorite combo.

gyro butter>pdx torque bs, gyro butter>mobius bs….you may laugh but i sucked so bad at gyro butter until like a month and a half ago when bob suggested i should do it more :)

quantum pickup>drifter>stepping same mirage rpt. thanks to ivan for the challenge this was perfect and had me punching the ground and swearing in front of toddlers.

-fairy same side muted double pickup like its my job. this to dod swirl would be off da hook.

this track means a lot today. be well my friends.

ending up playing 6/7 days last week, 11 hours and some change i counted, not taking other cross trainings into account. first time doing that in a looooong time, being 19 again is tight!

Took yesterday off from footbag but I think i should be good to sneak in a pre yoga session tonight. really hoping i can make this level of play/consistency with working out be a constant. i'd like to keep this momentum post USO and hopefully for worlds next year :!:

starting my voyage of learning disc scratching from a new friend a homie introduced me to a little while back. something i've always wanted to experiment with, finally found the right person willing and amped to teach me. i'm gonna be really bad for a really long time but fortunately footbag taught me i can be dank at anything with a lotto-bit of work. music is one of my greatest passions in life, stoked to finally find a way to express that outwardly. will update on my progress if i make any :D

not much for highlights because much schooling was done, but i do recall these:

-good run run starting with sumo>pixie same whirl>whirling swirl

-jim penske blocked me on Facebook for basketball reasons . not a joke trick name but def a highlight of the week. debating on making a Facebook album of all of the texts he's been sending derek and i that are straight fucking ridiculous but i probably should protect the innocent..and keep lubing up my larry bird cardboard cutout.....

-alpine gig, first one in at least 2-3 years. felt pretty good, would do everytime.

-spinning pdx whirl>drifter rpt

-alpine blurry pickup bothsides!
new on at least one, been schooling this trick hard minus the duck on bs.

-rev swirl>pdx blender bs lol

-schooled bsos fogs a buch with the best one having a whole bunch of fives and a midstring vortex>holy shit this void is so controlled and perfect let me spazz and drop the clipper in the seal.

- fog>pixie whirl>mobius>ps whirl>spinning whirl>run

we will not destroy you.

kicked yesterday. was super amped up but my speaker died early and although my form felt on point i was having lots of trouble hitting 5 tricks in a row for the first 45 minutes :( dug deep and pulled out some epic strings though. my mind gets so negative about my game and it shows threw my tricks, so mental this sport is.

few things of note:

-spinning whirl>drifter>spinning whirl>drifter>tomahawk>string

-gyro double pickup

- gyro butterfly>flurry

- ps whirl>rev swirl rpt! wanted this one for a minute but always forget to try! seal had lots of trix in it! https://www.instagram.com/p/BGqTwoqDZSM ... olden_path

thinking ps whirl>revup both sides for today's shred could be fun..or ps whirl>symp revup>symp egg..probably can't do that yet.....hmmm.

Be good kidz.
