I was inspired by the following page for juggling tutorials. I want to have the color coding for the footbag page, as well as the trick names on the cover slide:
Can you use your own domain name?

I have footbag.tv registered but currently unused and something like this seems like the perfect use for it. If you do go ahead and make this and want that domain name let me know and I'll transfer it over to you.

Janis, I'll keep it in mind. Thanks.

Man, I feel so bad for not updating this blog ever. It was used so hard, like every day in my first 6 years and these last 2 have really been so sporadic. I'll try to update a bit... later.. Zach Hoffa just showed up and we're about to spin fire. Bye!

Yo, thanks so much, everyone! Worlds was a huge turning point in my life. Getting BAPped has taught me a lot and altered my mind quite a bit since then. I gained so much more confidence in life. I have a lot of thoughts on it, and I'll try to express a few of the main ones here:

1) BAP was my ultimate goal for 9 years. Now that I've reached my star, I have this blank white board in front of me. I'd really like to fall in line with the rest of the BAP players who did amazing life things after BAP, like Jay, Clavens, Felix, etc. I've still got my invention that I'm working on, but I've also gotten back into stand-up comedy and it would be cool to do something big with that eventually. Anyway, I feel like I'm able to achieve some big things in life and I'm going to try to prove it to myself. Now is the time to do it.

2) A lot of players quit once they get BAP. I'm happy to say that I won't be one of them. I'm in it until I break my body, I guess. Just after getting BAP, I feel like I can relax about training a little more, even though I'll still train. I guess I just mean that I don't feel the pressure to get good and prove myself to anyone. It's a shame to say, but I felt the pressure to prove myself for years, especially because I was one of those players that most people really thought had no chance at BAP ever. Fee;s good to prove some of them wrong, but at the same time, I don't care what anyone thinks, because I'm in, so fuck it.

I just got back from NYJ yesterday and it was a blast. Better than any other year, imo. And hey, I'll post some highlights that I'm happy with.. long time, no highlights.. Some of these were great requests from Cass and Anton. Thanks guys.

Highlights:

 Hey, these arrow things again! Neat.
 Morpheus> Revup> run
 Gyro Rev Swirl> Symp Torque> run
 Ripstein> Symp Torque> run
 Airing Butterfly> run

 New trick: Pixie Ducking Muted Revup
 Vortex Swirl> run
 Spinning Swirl> Marius> run (footed Spinning Ducking Swirl> Marius too many times afterward)

Lots of good runs all weekend. So awesome playing and hanging with everyone.

Boatz is here now and I don't have running water because I found a way to fuck everything up again lol My landlord is supposed to come soon to fix it, then we're going to have a session in my living room, and hopefully have a place to shower tonight. Really stoked to play again. And it's great to be blogging again!

Oh, Ryan finished my tattoo design. I don't know how to post images here anymore, so I guess I'll post it eventually. I'll leave the post with the new video that Ivan edited for me. I'm so proud of how it turned out:

It would be cool to get these blogs poppin again. I'll keep at mine, though. Short post here.

Played with Boatz a few days in a row last week. Didn't really try crazy stuff. Messed with pushing myself steadily. Was hitting some great density with good variety. Stepping from Blurry Drifter, Tombstone, Smoke and Catacomb has been on my to-do list and I did a good bit of those. Also my flip Pdx Flail was actually functioning and that has NEVER happened. I think it might be due to my Barfly practice that I finally got those muscles built up.

Anyway, that session went well. Then I waited a few days and accidentally played again when I got home from work. I messed around with Smog on both sides and figured out a few things to hit them more consistently. Then, I hit a very shoey Nemesis :P Never thought I'd get there, but it's finally in the cards for me. I think I need to get really good at Fury bs and quick Blurriests first. We'll see. I'll mess with it.

So then, I remembered the Pdx Flails that I did the session before and I figured maybe PS Eggs were finally more doable. Holy shit, PS Egg is now one of my easier 5 ADDs. My body used to hate the motion, but now it really enjoys it. I hit so many on both sides. I love watching them in slow motion because they look so bad ass. I was having a lot of fun with them and setting and jumping super high to hit them.

Main highlight:

 Arrows!!! Sorry, that novelty will wear off soon, I'm sure.
 Symposium Torque> PS Egg

It's neat looking at some of my recent posts, because they're what I've always dreamed of achieving. Reach out and touch your dreams... Man, that's corny.. How about "Do stuff and try not to die in the process". That's better.

Thanks for the comments, guys. I'm definitely going to try to keep this going fairly consistently.

Session 2 days ago with Boatz. Hadn't played in 2 weeks, and figured the session would be awful, but the rust came off quickly and I was able to push my game a fair amount.

Highlights:

 1 run with midstring strong Mindbender, 1 run with flipside Alpine Food Processor (second time hitting that boi)
 PS Whirl x4 .. Highlight of the year haha My record was 2 before this.
 PS Whirl> Ripstein bs, almost bsos
 Spinning Whirl> Barfly *rpt
 Vanishing (Whirling Cloud Kick> Stepping) Symp Mirage
 PS Whirl> Reverse Swirl> *rpt
 Mullet bsos (2nd time I've ever hit flip Mullet lol Feels pretty.. not awful now)

Pretty happy with the highlights in that session. Too busy at work to do a life update. Ok, fine, maybe a little one.

Aerial silks more, made a closet for my juggling props/footbag gear, ordered juggling clubs. Ok done, cya.
